That's hilarious! I love Netflix, been a member for years.

The Waylon Jennings' 'Good Hearted Woman' album cassette just finished playing.
-
My parents used to listen to him, too. Is he the one that sings Luck Be a Lady?Bingo! And that's my choice, by the way. It's the first one that comes to mind. He's on a bunch of the 400 or so cassettes of my father's that I've been listening to.

^Great idea. I'm glad she's doing well.

Backbeat is one of my favorite movies ever! It focuses mainly on Stuart Sutcliffe, but the actors that play John and Paul are really good, and the one that played Paul also played him in a TV movie about Linda McCartney. I was kinda disappointed in the George actor, who, though very good, certainly looks like he has blue eyes. Would it have killed them to give him contacts? Stephen Dorff is amazing as Stu, but I think his career has been downhill since. I think he peaked too early!

Sloth, easily. I can have a million things to do and not do a one of them.

1. Are you attracted to the "naughty" or the "nice"? Nice without naughty is boring. Naughty without nice is suicidal.
2. Do you let your dirty laundry pile up? If I don't do it all on my days off before I go back to work Tuesday night, it can drag out till Friday!
3. What's the last excuse you made? 'I can't work on this (Dad's health insurance) on days I work, I need to be off to concentrate' and it's the truth.
4. Do you tend to play it safe or do you take risks? I tend to think I play it safe, but a lot of people think otherwise. I've gone food shopping alone at 3 a.m., or to the movies alone, or walked through the parking lot at work alone in the middle of the night, and don't think twice, and lots of people think that's sheer madness. I think they're paranoid, and I'm the violent crime survivor! But it didn't happen in the middle of the night, anyway.
5. Friday fill-in: Let's go to _bed_ and _:heart:_.

I remember really wanting to go, because of TPATH, of course (MSG is a short train ride for me), but I didn't, and my brother got it on pay per view and taped it for me. I had that for years. Absolutely loved 'License To Kill'!
I ended up being really glad I didn't actually go, because I thought the audience were collective aholes for booing Sinead O'Connor because she ripped up a picture of the Pope on SNL a week earlier. The concert wasn't about her, whether you agreed with her or not, and she was just there, like everyone else, to pay tribute to Dylan. I found the audience reaction incredibly crass and tasteless.

We usually send out a picture card with Hubby, Dad and I, sort of to prove to everyone that Dad's still alive and kicking. I don't know what's happening with that this year, since my brother usually takes the pic, and I don't know when he's gonna be dropping by. He usually takes the pic when we get together for Thanksgiving, but Dad was in the hospital then, so it didn't happen. If I get ambitious enough, I'll call him about it.
And no, I don't get offended.

Get my head out of my ass. I've been way too stressed out, and my anxiety is up; almost had to leave work sick last night. I need to stop worrying and just take action.
Finish the laundry!

No music right now. Expecting a health aide for my Dad. Just my hubby's noisy PC cycling in and out.

Basically just waiting for retirement, if the US Postal Service lasts that long!
Hubby and I are 12 years apart, and work at the same place, while taking care of my ailing 87-year old father. Hubby wants to stay another four years and max out his time, at 41 years. I want to stay another three years, and get my minimum, at 25 years. If Dad lives longer, I'll stay longer, but once Hubby gets max, it's senseless for him to stay. He's under Civil Service, so will take a part time job until he can qualify for Social Security.
Our ultimate goal is to get outta Dodge and go Southwest, as we hate the cold, snow, and humidity.

I hate the mood I've been in lately. Winter inertia has set in, and it's not even Winter, yet!

My husband actually got drafted by the Marines years ago, when he was 18, but his father convinced him that he had a better chance of living if he went into the Army instead, so that's what he did. The Marines were on the front lines, and the Army basically cleaned up after them.
From what I've read so far, the Air Force sounds like the best bet.

Well, we still have about 400 cassettes that I'm listening to. I've been getting rid of them as they die. I've been uploading CDs and getting rid of them, too, mostly to my husband. I want to go all digital, MP3s and whatnot. I'm tired of carrying around stuff! I LOVE music, but am not a purist, at all. I don't have picky ears.
What are you eating for supper today? Thanksgiving leftovers, or something else?
-
Okay, I had to look up zip line.:icon_redface:
I did know what it was, just didn't know the name for it.
That's my choice, anyway.

1. Do you think other people find you complicated? I would think so; I AM complicated, even to myself. lol! Either that, or I'm just a pain in the ass!
2. If someone does you wrong, do you retaliate? I like to believe in karma, but I'm above the petty stuff (pun intended).
3. Name the last person to hug you? Probably my husband.
4. Your latest complaint: Too much health insurance info for me to go through for husband and father, 'cause they both can't and won't do it.
5. Were you the bully on your playground? If not, who was? My ex-best friend in middle school used to bully me with her new best friend. I used to stay late and hang out with a teacher or two to avoid them.

I'm tempted to get that book, but then I'll give it away in about 6 months, like everything else. I've kept the TPATH songbooks, in case I get back into playing music again, and I have a large, homemade 3-ring binder picture collection, but everything else has come and gone.

^You said it, Beth! Cold and windy today, and colder (of course) tonight as I go to work. But since I just go from the house to the car, and the car to the building, I just wear a good leather jacket. I hate the cold, and am not in it any longer than I have to be.
