  1. The family with too many kids. Scenarios I've already gone through: The family who breaks up, and then the husband turns it into a boarding house for all his druggie friends, one of which hit on me. That one also had a large dog, and when he finally lost the house, they found four inches of dog s in the basement. He also liked to work on his car, and would leave the engine running for hours, until I started getting carbon monoxide poisoning and called the cops on him. A bunch of women living together with their many children, and the husbands would visit on weekends. They liked hanging their laundry over the fence separating our properties. They also had an illegal above ground pool that was so off kilter that they parked a car up against it so it wouldn't fall over. The house next door is now empty and up for sale. I hope it never sells.
  2. I like small, organizational purses with wallet features built right in. I bought a nice little red (bold purse color for me; I usually get black) one about two years ago, and have been very happy with it.
  3. An hour a day or more. To even it out, some days I don't make it online at all.
  4. Just a couple times a year, and usually autobiographies, like Alan Alda or George Carlin. I don't take out books that often because I'll read one obsessively until it's finished, so they never go back unread.
  5. Call out sick for two days. Go back to bed and dream of a snowless existence.
  6. TIL the worst of the upcoming storm will be when I'm supposed to be going to work. I quit. I just f-in' give up. I made it in the last two or three storms, then came home from work and shovelled. Guess the new car is staying in the garage 'til Thursday night. I haven't seen it since Sunday morning.:085:
  7. I hate that I feel that I have to do this. The joys of this Winter just never seem to end.:085:
  8. Dozens. Oh, you mean actually greenery?:003: Around me, none, but there're few live ones on top of a file cabinet somewhere. There are also a bunch of scattered fake Pointsettias around that I will toss out of sight as they aggravate me. Christmas was a month ago, but they will be left up year 'round. How many days did you call out sick last year?
  9. Rarely, but that needs to change soon, or I'll end up in the hospital before Winter's over with an acute anxiety attack. Happens every year in late February/early March. My bro Jeff calls it 'Cabin Fever'. I call it 'Hell'. It's the worst feeling in the world. My anxiety is pent up adrenalin with nowhere else to go, and if I could be bothered to exercise enough, it would never happen again. It sucks that my job is physical, but doesn't get the heart rate up, so it doesn't count.
  10. I have constipation-predominant IBS that turns right around when majorly stressed. I've also had neck spasms that turn into a headache worse than a migraine almost instantaneously; I thought it was blood pressure, and my head was going to explode, but high blood pressure would affect both sides, I've since learned. That's acute. Long term, I get constant headaches, migraines and others, and just don't want to do anything.
  11. Usually not at all, unless I'm cold or have something on my mind keeping me awake.
  12. Make more money. I gave up having regular weekends off years ago. As long as I have two days off together, I'm happy. I work Friday night and Saturday night as the last two nights of my work week, and because Saturday night falls into Sunday, I get premium pay. Then I'm off Sunday night and Monday night for my weekend. I start all over again Tuesday night.
  13. Carpet. Our bed is in the attic, and the walls angle, so it's on the floor.
  14. Other, basically all of the above.
  15. 1. For the most part, do you feel physically younger or older than you actually are? Younger 2. How about emotionally? Younger or older than your current age? I'm split; very responsible, but can throw tantrums like a 2-year old. 3. Do you think you were/are better at being a kid, teenager or an adult? I was very different being a kid. An act of violence early on completely messed up my teenage years, and I've been too indecisive being an adult, though I'm getting better. 4. These days, do you find yourself trying to make an extra effort for more time to play or rest these days? I need to play, but am not good at it. I'm either working hard or staring at walls. 5. Take this quiz: Are You a Puppy or a Kitten? You Are a Kitten You are playful and sweet, but you also treasure your alone time. You're pretty independent, and you resent anyone trying to tell you what to do. You don't get bored easily. You are quite good at entertaining yourself. Deep down, you are quite sensitive and intuitive. You are less standoffish than you seem. 6. Which have you had more of in your life: cats or dogs? I'm all about cats!
  16. Yahoo is automatic on my computer. I use Google when I think about it. I hate even the word Bing; it reminds me too much of Bing Crosby; it's advertised heavily, and it bugs me. Ha. Bing bugs me.:003:
  17. Let's put it this way: It takes me about an hour to get ready for work. When I have an appointment on my day off, I'm much more leisurely about it, even though those are more likely in the mornings. I work the night shift. I don't rush when I don't have to.
  18. I hate that my work buddy and I couldn't go to that warehouse sale today because of the snow. IF it was closed because of it, they'll have it next week, but we won't know till we try and go next week. At least the drive is really scenic. I hate all the shovelling I have to do. Even though it was only about five inches, we've got a long driveway, and since we temporarily have three cars, I've got to do the neighbor's side since he's kind enough to let us park one there. I hate that now that I've recovered from shovelling, I have a whole head migraine from hell. Not going to get much else done today!
  19. 1. American football: good times or couldn't care less? Couldn't care less. 2. Do you have a favorite sports team? I guess the New Jersey Devils hockey team, though I haven't seen a game in years. My bro had season tickets forever, and he used to take me a lot when I was in high school. 3. What's your favorite junk food? Dove milk chocolate, Mrs. Fields' chocolate chip cookies, and Rice Krispies Treats 4. Are professional athletes paid too much? Baseball and football players yes; others, not so much. I realize they're fairly short careers, but most regular people have to change jobs, also. 5. Who do you think will win this year's Superbowl? Honestly, I'm not even sure who's playing, though I think the Jets are, because they're fairly local. The real winners will be whoever's playing the halftime show. TPATH's recognition factor went way up when they played. Everybody knows a lot of their songs, but never knew who played them!
  20. I think buying my new car counts; if it does, I picked it up on Wednesday. With all the bells and whistles, I feel pampered every time I get in it, and it was even pretty good driving home in the snow this morning.
  21. Other. I know I've seen a few, but I'm not even sure which ones.
  22. I love my new car; big surprise there, lol! After two days of delays, I finally picked it up yesterday. It's so nice I'm actually nervous driving it! People are completely shocked that it's a Hyundai (Genesis Coupe 3.8 GT), but they've really come a long way. I'm thrilled!
