I couldn't find the Houston show on Ticketmaster, but I see it on LiveNation.
-
You said it, Sister!
-
Yeah, it's like constant major concerts all winter, spring and summer. I should have made extra contributions to the concert fund last year since it was so slow.
-
Hee hee hee.
-
At least they are getting to Texas now. Phew!
-
Ack!Ditto!

^LOL
It would be so fun to join that group that's there. If only I didn't need a paycheck....
That would be great to post a group photo. I know what Navy Red looks like from her MySpace page, so I'll be looking for her. It would be nice to spot others.
And I can't wait to hear from you guys afterwards. I know you are having the best time. I hope Tom and the boys throw the TPATH fans a big kiss at the end of the show.
-
I'm with you, Barb. I love them all, but I suppose Fame is the most fun to me.
-
Theodore Roosevelt Rough Riders. We didn't have a mascot, per se. We had a "Big Stick", and Big Stick carriers, lol. (Because TR said, "Walk softly and carry a big stick".)
I guess it's a good thing we never had to play The Trojans. The jokes would have been terrible.

I'd hope for something vegetarian, but other than that, I'm easy to please. I'd bring some wine and flowers.
-
I hope to do 5. We'll see if it all pans out.
-
Happy Birthday! I hope you have a great Sweet 16th.
-
1. What do you need? To grow up (but I won't)
2. What won't you share? Toothbrush sounds good.
3. What do you hurry through? Lots of things. I'm always too busy, trying to fit in some more fun stuff.
4. Who is worth waiting for? Everyone I love.
5. Friday fill-in: I can't bear to deal with stupid people.
-
All 3.

Two things I have trouble with rolled up in one. Bigfoot and aliens. LMAO!!

Oh Lizzie, we shall talk soon. You're going to lots of shows.I wish I were going everywhere on my list. I'll do the 3 Texas shows, plus a one trip/two show deal somewhere. The concert buddy and I are in negotiations at the present. And of course, the husband has to agree to the budget. And if Red Rocks comes up, I'll go there too, if I can swing it.
It's really down to two trips at the momemt. We've added Chicago/Indianapolis to the list of possibilities, as July 2 is Kay's Bday. I doubt I can deny her TPATH on her birthday! The other possibility is The Gorge. I can handle the 2.5 hour drive from Seattle since we'll stay put for 2 nights.

And, of course, if I get the opportunity to meet my Ben...
OMG, we might have to have an actual fight over Ben in Dallas!
-
That is cool. Look at those east coast shows!!
By the way, not that anyone cares, lol, but The Woodlands is just north of Houston, not east of Dallas. You might try adding the zip: 77380. It's my show, and I care, but then I know where The Woodlands is...I used to live there!
Anyone that wants to see Texas, these three shows in four days are a very easy driving distance from each other. And you must look me up, because I'll be at all three shows.
And you pass through Austin on the way from San Antonio (Selma) to Dallas. You could even come back through Austin on Thursday and spend a night before heading over to Houston on Friday. If you book now, you might get a room at the San Jose Hotel in Austin. It's a very, very cool spot on South Congress, which is the best part of Austin. Lots of good music around there.

So the next big question is.. when is the presale? it must be soon if all tickets go on sale Feb 4.Jan 30.
My anxiety/stress/excitement level it going up, up, up!! So many decisions to make before Wednesday.
-
Geez, I just rescheduled a meeting on the 30th. I feel my anxiety level rising just thinking about Ticketmaster. It's going to be a long week. I think I'll do Selma (San Antonio), Dallas and Houston. I would really like to go to the Gorge and Billy & I will be coming back from Alaska that weekend. I don't know if he will do four shows.Ditto! Let's talk. We'll want to meet up before the shows, at the very least. Do you know that venue in Selma? I didn't even know they had anything out there.
I'll try to do at least one trip. Other shows that look good to me are:
Darien Lake (only because Beth will be there
)Denver (especially if it's at Red Rocks)
The Gorge (thanks for the info, Nurk)
Irvine/San Fran
If Summerfest shows up, I might consider it
I'm also considering Calgary, as I have a friend that just moved there
I supose I'm leaning to the CA shows at this point. But who really knows. I'm like everyone else, my head is spinning!

-
Xanadu!! (not)
Any Monty Python movie, really. But I'll pick Holy Grail.
-
I had not seen that. It's great!
-
^Yes, it's pretty hard to choose one, Emmie.
I said creative expression. Last night at the Foo Fighters concert, I told Kay, "I want to be Dave Grohl". I would love to be able to create music and entertain people by touring it.
-
Yay! Summer festival line ups are starting to come out! Woo hoo!
I wouldn't go to Cali for any of these artists/bands, but there are some good choice there. There several that I hope will come to ACL and/or Bonnaroo.
I'm really excited to see The Racounteurs on the list!! Maybe it means they are touring this summer!!

There are some repeats from Ticketmaster, but quite a few that aren't on Ticketmaster.
Good grief, this is too confusing!!!
