  1. I know what you mean about tickets, Sharon. Sometimes I get so tired of buying tickets!! But I'm sure that one will be worth it in the end.

This talk is getting me excited for ACL in one month. We are starting out with a Wednesday night Gary Clark, Jr show and I can't wait. ACL is another one I always question when it comes to the hassle of ticket buying. But when it gets here, it's so exciting!

  2. Sharon and I would get along great! Anything under 80 seems slow to me, but I keep it to 10 mph over the posted limit wherever I am, to minimize the chances of getting a ticket.

I believe those roads with 85 here are out west where it's flat, barren and uncrowded. It's easy to drive 100 out there, so 85 would seem slow to a lot of people.

  3. I'm sure there are nicer things, but one thing I especially remember is when we got lost in Central Park while visiting NYC one month after 9/11. A runner stopped to ask if we needed help (I guess we were obviously lost), and after she gave us a few confusing sounding directions, she said, "Here, let me just take you", and she walked us out. We protested that she didn't need to go out of her way, but she insisted. I'll never forget the kindness that abounded in NYC on that trip.

  4. Do you use coupons when shopping?

I almost said no, but I do use the BBB 20% coupons they send in the mail. Just saved $80 on a Dyson vacuum! Just a hint, my BBB ignores that section at the bottom that excludes the discount on all the different brand names. They give the discount on anything, it seems.

Everything else I throw in the garbage. I'm too busy to save money, lol. Only half kidding, but usually I find the coupons are never for things I would buy.

Does a coupon sway you in buying a certain product?

    Nope

Where do you get coupons? (ie: the newspaper, online, mailers, etc..)

Just the one from the mailbox.

How much would you say was your biggest savings when you used a coupon(s)?

I guess the $80 on the vacuum.

Do you keep coupons in a coupon book?

    Nope
