What is a trait in another person that instantly repels you, and prevents you from forming a close relationship with them? this is horrible to say but.......missing teeth 5. Time to confess: tell us about something rotten OR something wonderful someone has done for you recently. I've been looking into a job where I did my undergrad work....like 25 years ago.... and contacting professors. Not only do they remember me but have been supportive about the position. Sweet!
  2. We probably should. The puppies health care is more expensive than mine.
  3. How exciting for you and family. Best wishes to everyone and can't wait to see the pics if they approve posting. I bet your mom can't wait to see that baby.

  6. Congratulations. Let the fun begin!!!
  7. I try and go to the store full so I'm not tempted by the bags of chips, mountains of candy, and ice cream screaming my name. I may taste something when I'm buying bulk foods to determine if it's fresh. Now I have this former roommate with the last name of Lawless. He lived up to it. He would go to Sun Harvest (like Wild Oats) and eat from the binds. Called it lunch. I can tell you stories. He would do situps so he could put meat down his pants (before I knew him). He would pour oil out of the cheap bottles and fill it with the best olive oils. I mainly heard the stories. The people working there would see him do it and he would smile at them and wink. When I saw him at the store I walked away from him. The only time he ever got caught, he talked his way out of it when the police took him away. He also moved to Germany with his Italian wife, faked a back injury, and collected disability for over a year. When I knew him he was separated from wife and lived under a tarp thrown over a jungle jim in the backyard. Can you say grifter?
  8. Hugh Grant here. Yes, Emmie - I agree. I think it's the boyish style with the devilish twinkle in his eyes!
  9. Christine graced this forum with her wit, humor, and kindness. Across thousands of miles, I could feel the warmth of her words and positive energy as she shared thoughts on many subjects. She and her style will be deeply missed. I don't know if her sons or hubby will visit the farm again but if they do, they may want to read through her posts to learn how this community grew to love her.

  14. The oldest is likely the bedroom set that belonged to my grandparents. Newest - I bought a new swimsuit and sandels yesterday.
  15. Returned from 5 days of camping on a dusty ridge when it was 98 in the shade. Another year of Kerrville Folk Festival. Will go back out there Friday through Monday and then be done. The line-up http://www.kerrvillefolkfestival.com/2008_performers.htm Great fun, good music, wonderful friends.
  16. Not a certain pen but I like an extra fine point with a good ink flow. I also like to use purple ink when it's nothing formal.
  17. Not at all. It's one of those things that I don't know the full story - only the slice of the story I'm seeing. Always the relativist. So maybe if I saw someone who was clearly doing it for kicks.
  18. Probably when I was just out of college and joined a fitness club. I financed the membership at 18%. I was so unaware and they triple teamed me.
  19. Christianed as an infant, never confirmed within the church. Don't go to chruch..........Sometimes I think about going as it would make parents happy but don't believe you need to be in church to live a meaningful life.
  20. Yes, a professional history. I don't want a personal history. Don't care and the less information I have the better.
