I rarely have control of the remote.

I have lived in Oklahoma City, Denver, and Singapore (a city-country). Total time in those cities - about a year. I'm a small town/country person.

Yes, KLRU in Austin has some great music programming. Anything from Dylan to Hank Williams and points in between. Of course, Austin City Limits plays every week so there is always someone new there. We primarily watch PBS at home. Tonight is my fave - Antique Road Show!! I love that show. Amazing how much a butt-ulgy vase is worth.

I can't fake a cry and can't remember if I've every cried during a ticket. If I did, it was real emotion.

A bit more. I don't travel as much.

I'm a hellbound heathen.
On some basic, gut-level instinct, I REFUSE to pick up other people's crap. Makes me mad to do it and I won't. And I can just about out-wait anyone. Yesterday when I left the house, Barb Boy had four pairs of shoes on floor, several pairs of pants laying around. towels left around, and the tools laying around.......I "hit the road".

Sorry Nurk! Can't vote for you if you inhaled! As far as November, I'm still waiting to see what is going to happen in August.

Nancy, that was so sweet of you to acknowledge Ryan and all his hard work for making this such a nice place to hang out. This is a great place, filled with wonderful people, and a treasure of information. I'll add my thanks to the rest.

Well, I've had two big weddings - tacky huh? I wanted an Elvis wedding in Vegas and Barf Boy wanted a Halloween wedding with friends and family (his family is over 75 people). Since it was his first marriage, I thought it best to give him what he wanted. We probably had over 200 at wedding but it was fun - except for Barf Boy having the flu and um well, ...........barfing. I started well over a year in advance. A friend called it the only hand-made wedding he had ever been to. We didn't spend tons of money but people all reported a good time.

Nope! My dad took off for cooler climates. They won't be home for a month or so. We celebrated Saturday.

Get Your Own Life!
I could have used more sleep last night.

Ya man, I just paid almost $400 for prevention for Mike, Willy and Harry Larry, and shots for Harry Larry. Willy went in for shots and his bill was almost $200. Puppy camp over Memorial Weekend was $200 and the next weekend was $120. That's almost a grand for the puppies this month. Harry Larry needs work that will be over $600. Man, I don't think Barf Boy and I get to eat for the next two months.

What a sweetie. I love the pic of him cutting loose. He looks like he's got some lungs. Maybe you have a singer in the making. Enjoy! I also have a nephew named Cole. He's a toot!

1. What's one of the nicest things a friend has ever done for you? like the other answers there are too many to pick only one
2. What's one of the nicest things a stranger has ever done for you? I can't think of anything
3. What is a trait in another person that you instantly admire, and that draws you to them? sparkle in eyes
4. What is a trait in another person that instantly repels you, and prevents you from forming a close relationship with them? this is horrible to say but.......missing teeth
5. Time to confess: tell us about something rotten OR something wonderful someone has done for you recently. I've been looking into a job where I did my undergrad work....like 25 years ago.... and contacting professors. Not only do they remember me but have been supportive about the position. Sweet!

We probably should. The puppies health care is more expensive than mine.

How exciting for you and family. Best wishes to everyone and can't wait to see the pics if they approve posting. I bet your mom can't wait to see that baby.

I feel the excitement in your words. You all have a great time. Come back and share your stories.

Yes, Barf Boy and I watched yesterday. Made me cry to see the blank table. We looked forward to "meet the press" every Sunday. Tim, in college, was a promoter/booker on his campus within student affairs. He booked Bruce back in the 60's as Bruce was playing the circut.
