    We live on one of the smaller lots in our subdivision (ranch that had parts sold off) and that's 6.5 acres and the 6.5 next to us doesn't have a house on it. I do not see neighbors and have not met them. I've met the guy who owns the land next to me (the vancant land) and kinda think he's an ass. He's a nurse and hermonica player and sometimes sits in with a friend's friend. He takes every lead and doesn't hand back to singer on cue. He also owns hybrid wolves. Luckily he hasn't been out in years. I think most of us are out there because we want to be left alone.

    Nurk, you have solid points. The reality is most of us don't save at 20 and the future will start tomorrow. And I've heard reports on NPR lately that less of us are saving than were 20 years ago. If you look at the feds as an example, we are 425T in debt by the aminstration count and close to 900T in debt if you listen to economists. Not a great example. It's more the norm to live beyond one's means and we spend, spend, spend. That said, the dollar today ain't what it used to be and wages haven't kept up so I think it is harder for people to save. OK!!!

    Now, my personal opinion! I don't think anyone from my office will see my arse crossing the front door again once I'm gone. I work because I need a job to pay bills. I love what I do and believe I am making a difference in people's lives via education.....but watch the door swing behind me and catch me down on party avenue.

    I'm a planner. Calendar is full through December with work stuff so I plan my personal stuff. I even plan errands so that I lay out the route in the most effecient manner.

    With regards to evereating, I just got these hyponotherapy cds to stop eating sugar and processed foods. Barf Boy and I quit smoking 14 days ago (YAHOO! again using hypnotherapy but have been going for blizzards at Dairy Queen frequently) If anyone wants the url, pm me and I'll send it to you.

    5. Have you ever walked away from someone you considered a friend? Yes! She was abusive. She sent me a 14 - 16 page letter detailing my shortcomings as a friend and a person, and that she was giving me the boot as a friend. She tried to make up later but I decided I had enough of walking around her tantrums.

    Hard question. I would be offended but would likely suffer the shame and humilation for a new wardrobe................it would be tough.

    About two freaking years ago my boss was on my ass about how I dress....dropping hints....bla..bla...bla. Finally, I asked her what she wanted me to wear since she is a fashion queen (heavy sarcasam......a lesbian girlfriend who used to work here says she's a dyke with a husband who doesn't know he's gay either - I'm sure I've just offended someone - so sorry) Anyway......she wants to take me shopping. So she and another co-worker, my mother and I meet at the mall (last time I was in a mall) and shop for clothes for me. It was NOT fun. It sucked big time. In the end it was OK because I learned about Chico's travel line of clothes and now that's what I buy for work........The only cool thing about the whole experience was that it shut her up....for a while........then it was the hair.....and jewlry........................so I have experienced the pain...........and it's not pretty.
