My dad made me do it all when I was 16. Yes, I can. The problem now is many places use some electric (like a tightner hooked to a drill) means of tightening the lug nuts. They are so hard to turn by hand.

I would probably have a drink to calm my nerves and face the multitudes of fans that had paid huge sums of money to see me.

oh yes! There's a guy who lives 3 lots over and he's a real jerk. Then there's a elder couple that lives about half a mile away. Barf Boy took care of her in hospital and gave her a bath and wiped her tush so I don't think we'll be having coffee with them any time soon. Did stop and meet this one guy who bought the bottom land (also about 1/2 mile down road). He's a graduate student in geography and stares and chest when he talks. The woman right next to us (you can see her light if you look through the trees just right at night) might be ok. I met her about 12 years ago when she and her husband were building. They are divorced now and she kept the house. She has standing water issues because of mesquitos.

We live on one of the smaller lots in our subdivision (ranch that had parts sold off) and that's 6.5 acres and the 6.5 next to us doesn't have a house on it. I do not see neighbors and have not met them. I've met the guy who owns the land next to me (the vancant land) and kinda think he's an ass. He's a nurse and hermonica player and sometimes sits in with a friend's friend. He takes every lead and doesn't hand back to singer on cue. He also owns hybrid wolves. Luckily he hasn't been out in years. I think most of us are out there because we want to be left alone.

Nurk, you have solid points. The reality is most of us don't save at 20 and the future will start tomorrow. And I've heard reports on NPR lately that less of us are saving than were 20 years ago. If you look at the feds as an example, we are 425T in debt by the aminstration count and close to 900T in debt if you listen to economists. Not a great example. It's more the norm to live beyond one's means and we spend, spend, spend. That said, the dollar today ain't what it used to be and wages haven't kept up so I think it is harder for people to save. OK!!! Now, my personal opinion! I don't think anyone from my office will see my arse crossing the front door again once I'm gone. I work because I need a job to pay bills. I love what I do and believe I am making a difference in people's lives via education.....but watch the door swing behind me and catch me down on party avenue.

Hello August! It's my birthday month and beginning of the year of Kira!! You have all been put on notice. This is MY year! No focusing on weddings, Barf Boy's schooling, and most importantly not obsessing about work@##$#. I will keep you posted.

I think that's the type of question where there is no yes or no answer. Coices, fate, right place at right time, wrong place at wrong time....could be debated a lifetime.

I'm a planner. Calendar is full through December with work stuff so I plan my personal stuff. I even plan errands so that I lay out the route in the most effecient manner. With regards to evereating, I just got these hyponotherapy cds to stop eating sugar and processed foods. Barf Boy and I quit smoking 14 days ago (YAHOO! again using hypnotherapy but have been going for blizzards at Dairy Queen frequently) If anyone wants the url, pm me and I'll send it to you.

If I remember

Barf Boy is a fan. He always liked them but now does cover of Mary Jane's Last Dance, and stands guard over me at shows so I can go spastic and not hurt self or others.
