I'm going to see Tom Petty in Dallas........................... Yahoo! Yehaw! I love life today!

It was a great night. I'm here at the office pecking away at typewriter while head is in Tom P &HB austistic, music heaven. Steve Winwood can play an awsome slow guitar. Holly Molly! Have to get this work done but will report more tomorrow. Barf Boy should call in a few and we're off to Big D. All the folks at Chili's were so fun and sweet. My oh my. The book came out that has been traveling to the shows and it was fun to view it. Of course, being in petty-autistic mode, it was hard to focus on the words but the letters looked real pretty in all the different colored markers. I'm having soooooooooooo much fun!!!!!!! Better than being dropped 8 stories on a wild ride at the amusement park. More reports later. The show was a humid success. I sat next to this guy named Jack from Florida who may or may not have been in Petty Theft. One story from mom and I think he said he played with them once. I don't know. Life is soooooooooooooooooooooooooo goood!

I agree. The ages should match. 18 or 21 - they still seem like babies to me. Cried this morning on way to work listening to two boys from same, small town killed one day apart in Afganastan.

Finally finishing a novel. It was difficult to maintain a level of dedication to writing. Now, ugh! I have to work on trying to sell it and I think that will make writing feel easy.

The waiting is almost over. Can you believe that day back in Jan or Feb when we sat at our computers, nervously, waiting for that 10:00 to roll on and and try out luck with that nasty Ticketmaster.....the angst..the horror...........the fret of anticipation................and now the day is near.

That sounds good for Selma. I'll wear my party hat!! That's my head! I'll ask a girlfriend about Dallas locations. It's over by the market and world trade center, I think. I looked for hotels a while back but have slept too many times to remember. There are lots of hotels in the area. The Marriott in Woodlands sounds great. I have a room there so Lynn and I will certainly have our party hats on. WhooHoo! It's a triple Tom treat!

Just found the thread. Barf Boy and I will be at Selma and Dallas. He starts school that week so we have to drive to Dallas from Austin and 3:00 and then home after the show. He can't make Houston so I'll be there with a girlfriend from Corpus - her first Tom Petty show. It's getting close!

Is he playing two roles on GH? That was my fave show back in college. Had to watch it.

I made a decision the other day. I think there are so many dire things going on and the administration wants us to be ruled by fear. I have been and won't be anymore.
