  1. 1. Are you afraid of bugs? No, will carry some to their safety

    2. What do you like on your toast? I don[t eat toast

    3. Be honest, do you screen your calls and let the people you don’t want to talk to go straight to voicemail? 'screen them all

    4. Do you do laundry on a regular schedule? No

    5. Do you respect people more for staying through difficult times or knowing when to call it quits? I'll have to agree that it really depends

  2. How many times a day do you...

    1. Brush your teeth? two or three. My dentist said I only have to do it twice if each brushing is done properly, lasts two minutes, and floss everyday....................right
    2. Shower? once or twice - depends on the heat and if I'm jumping in the pool
    3. Check your E-mail? it's up all the time at office and dings. I communicate lots through email with work
    4. Check Mudcrutch Farm? when I don't travel as much several times a day if work load is slow. When traveling or getting my head slammed at office (it's already started) once if i'm lucky.

Eat- just depends - two or three. Less when Barf Boy is not around

  3. Well, tonight is the final night of Tom's Texas Trio. Going to Houston for show. I'm already whipped from last two (as in whiplashed) so I'm sure I'll be bedridden tomorrow. When we get back, brother and family are with my folks so there's lots of visiting (my folks live 4 miles away). I plan to work on editing the novel the rest of the time. I've made the changes on paper copy so am going back and rereading, making the edits, and making sure it hangs. 11 chapters to go so hope to finish next weekend.

  4. Man, I just wrote a review and lost it. Dang!

So much fun. We arrived in Dallas around 3:00. Lizzygirl and The WildOne passed us on the way. Arrived and found Dick's Last Resort, American Airline Center. Parked and went to will call to get tickets. WhooHoo! 2nd row - between Tom and Mike. You don't know how fun that was to write. I'm going to write it again and say it out loud as I write. I was going to be between between Tom and Mike. Cool.

Headed over to Dick's but passed by Westin and went in for a drink (we were early) Found our way up to the Wet Bar by the pool on 16th floor. 0-Line pool overlooking the city. Met Tony and Joanie who were there from show. Traded rock-and-roll stories and decided to stay there rather than brave the heat of the walk to Dick's and back. Lovely view and wonderful people.

Time for show. Loved Steve Winwood. That slow hand guitar - man that guy can play. Lights down

Lights up! I giggle. I always do when they come out. Why? Because I know I'm in for two hours of sheer joy and pleasure........ and I'm anticipating how much fun my nuerons are going to have firing over the music. Who wouldn't laugh with all that anticipation.

Mike throws me a pick but I'm already too spastic to find it so it's gone. I throw a bandana (actually a guitar wiper) for Mike. In those overly jerky movement (neuron overload) I overthrow and actually hit him instead of the feet where I was aiming. Is this the throwing like a girl thang.

Rock and roll............yahoo! Song after song. I'm up at the rail and start doing that head banging, kind of primal, autistic rocking that happens. It's so freakin' wierd. I'm actually embarrassed to be around me but I can only stop when I put my eye behind the lens of a camera. The id of my inner child comes out and my freakin old body has to follow. Today I feel like I have wiplash and my back hurts. Maybe they will rock me like my backbone was their own (opps - Chris Smither diversion)

Steve Winwood comes out and plays with them. I think it was higher love but please check with someone with feet in reality. OK! More music. Loved Honey Bee. Mike makes fun of me for taking so many pictures. More head banging. Don't know how to work the camera so somehow its on video during saving grace. a little pissed about it but can't stop to figure it out cause the songs keep coming. hang the fool thang to billy but he can't fix it either. Oh well, will see what it looks like later

more head banging at the rail. Joanie and Tony come down and rock with us. she head bangs too.........cool Mike throws another pick and it bounces off Barf Boy's chest (Billy) The lights come up and there like ten people looking for that pick. God we're having fun.

We go outside and talk with Joanie and Tony. Billy hands me the pick. It's the first one Mike threw. Cool, I've never had a pick before.

We head out. Billy has to be in clinicals back in Austin at 6:15 this morning. Drive, drive, drive. The last hundred was the hardest. The first hundred we were buzzing from the high of the show.

    Yahoo! Houston is tomorrow!

  5. It was a great night. I'm here at the office pecking away at typewriter while head is in Tom P &HB austistic, music heaven.

Steve Winwood can play an awsome slow guitar. Holly Molly!

Have to get this work done but will report more tomorrow. Barf Boy should call in a few and we're off to Big D.

All the folks at Chili's were so fun and sweet. My oh my. The book came out that has been traveling to the shows and it was fun to view it. Of course, being in petty-autistic mode, it was hard to focus on the words but the letters looked real pretty in all the different colored markers.

I'm having soooooooooooo much fun!!!!!!! Better than being dropped 8 stories on a wild ride at the amusement park. More reports later.

The show was a humid success. I sat next to this guy named Jack from Florida who may or may not have been in Petty Theft. One story from mom and I think he said he played with them once. I don't know.

    Life is soooooooooooooooooooooooooo goood!
