  1. I don't watch them because they really scare me. Would not show them at all
  2. Can't remember. I really wanted to vote for Kinky when he ran for governor of Texas. Voting for him would have been a vote for Rick Perry. After the results came in, Kinky took enough votes to send the election to the republicans......maybe...the national candidates don't even spend money here because they know TX will go Republican
  3. I wonder if she has a full-time nanny?
  4. the law wins my vote but I spent the weekend hanging out with a bunch of cavers - they don't have personal ethics but they sure are fun.
  5. I would say more of a science to it. The more energy put into making it, the more pleasure is received from eating it.
  6. Did nobody here get the memo that this is the YEAR of Kira?? I get to focus on me all year since turning whatever 40 something in August. Barf Boy is graduating and I'm getting good haircuts and professional color. I have a pedi and mani once a month instead of him doing it. I finished writing a novel and will spend all the energy I want on sending it to agents. So this is the year of ME. I put my needs ahead of million pissin' demands made of me weekly. I think about the things I want to think about instead of what needs to happen next. For example, Barf Boy wants a Halloween party on Friday, the 31st, so I'm doing the food and printed out fliers and he does EVERYTHING else........cleaning, decorating. set up, emails, whatever. I'm out of town until the 30th. I know I'm ranting on and on but I've come to the conclusion that I can easily spend all my time doing for other people and for work. But if I want to accomplish the personal goal I've set..... seeing if I can become published (only been talking it for 15 years) then I have to say no and focus energy on my goal. Is that spoiled? Maybe other people see it that way because I give my energy to everyone who asks for it.
  7. yes but want to quit. did the hypnotherapy thang and that worked for a while. smoked before the Dallas Tom Petty show and then Barf Boy started buying them again. I'll go two or three days without when on road but when get home and I know he's got them, I'm like...........................give me one! NOW!
  8. 1. What bores you to tears? bad television but have taken up knitting so at least watching hubby's tv isn't so boring 2. How do you like to waste time? watching boring tv in evening with hubby 3. Do you speak your mind? Yes, unless to do so would harm someone else for my ego gratification. 4. Do you run away or face your problems? usually face them 5. Friday Fill-in: On Saturday, I plan to my annual Texas Caver's Reunion. Usually around 400 people there. I will let you know if there is raman noodle wrestling this year.
  9. I'm already at work. Will leave here and drive to San Antonio late afternoon so I can work there tomorrow.
  10. I don't find them scary but haven't laughed at one in years
  11. I was right in the middle of living when I realized I was spending too much energy working.
  12. I had a girlfriend who did Tia Chi. She was grace in movement when I watched. The media protrays the violent side of the art.

  20. 1. Do you ever eat your cupcakes with the frosting side down? I haven't had a cupcake in likely 15 years 2. Ice cubes: crushed or cubes? Crushed 3. Are your photographs organized? They do not see other people until in a book 4. Could you live with your inlaws and live to tell about it? I am so blessed to have great inlaws this time. Barf Boy is one of ten kids. His mom is great as are his brothers and sister. Their spouces are wonderful and all the neices and nephews are a joy. What a wonderful change from the batshit crazy inlaws I've had in the past. 5. If you were a singer, would you be a solo act? Or part of a band? solo. Barf Boy's band stories make me cringe -- egos, demands, can't play without more money ---whatever - solo would be easier.
  21. I talked to the puppies when I took them out this morning. First human was Martha - that was a mistake.
