  1. I don't have a clue. These nights I'm up and down often. Last night used the time to rewrite a query letter. Three nights ago I freaked when up to potty and a puppy must have moved a buffalo puppet up the stairs during the time. Puppets should not move during the night. Does not assist in going back to sleep. I woke up Barf Boy and made him place in puppet in a secure location. This is a prime example of why I do not watch scary movies and the weird ideas that come from not sleeping.

  2. Thanks for all the wonderful opinions, thoughts, and respect to the beliefs of others who post here. It is magic (or technology) that we can post our feelings in a respectful venue, even if we disagree. I post here only with the danger of becoming a self-proclaimed, silent idiot, and I love this country. As some may know this past eight years treaded heavily upon my soul. When I wished dubya outta Texas, I didn't intend for him to gain additional power. That said (and so my heart spoken) I could not help but feel relief and admiration today when dubya welcomed Obama to visit the White House, and assured the smooth transition of power. I think back to an interview that sticks with me between Terry Gross of "fresh air" (thank god for npr) and Al Gore. When she questioned him about the legality of the court decision to supress the Florida Supreme Court decision and the Supreme Court decision to not recount, Gore, feeling pressed, said that to further question would result in anarchary (sp). So, he withdrew and conceeded. So now we have another shift. A shift that seems the world views as a positive movement. And we pass the tourch again in history.....................and it is such a pleasure to watch. Not only because I am happy with the outcome, but because the process reaffirms what is great and good about this country. The possibilies are limitless. The future is close. We have the collective ability to reinvent who we are.................and the world watches.

  3. Ick! Ick! Ick! No way!

Barf Boy likes his pizza cooked way more than me. I like pizza rare to medium. If he is allowed to cook it to a well-done texture, the crust only serves to rake soft tissue from one's mouth, throat, and tounge. My vote for the crust is equally divided among the puppies. They seem to enjoy. I would rather soak it in 1% milk and send it to 3rd world countries where it could still break the teeth of the fittest than allow the rock access through my delicate lips! Shall we address that foul fungus on the delicate sauce of the pizza next?

  4. Take the ACT!

    1. Have you made any Halloween plans? Tonight will be working for Day of the Dead party tomorrow. Barf Boy has our wedding outfits hanging from the arbor in skeltons with a witch sign hanging on me. This is my fave holiday!!

    2. At what age should you stop trick-or-treating? NEVER!

    3. What's your favorite kind of Halloween candy? popcorn balls

    4. Are you more likely to trick someone else or be tricked yourself? both

    5. Do you believe in ghosts? yes

  5. Oh my.... some lights have been strung. Frankinstien is on the front porch - of course I think he looks like Keith Richards. The graveyard is out but not up. Barf Boy made the tombstones and their so cool. We are going to stuff and hang our wedding outfits on the arbor we married under last Halloween. Friends will bring their decorations over. The hourse has all our day of dead sugar skulls on display as well as all the skeletons. Let's just say............we don't do this for Christmas - except keep the lights up. The party is a Day of the Dead party since it's November 1 - All Soul's Day
