most of them will work for me (except some blasted chipmunk song). It's getting Barf Boy up that's the issue.

Get your vasectomy done by Dr. Richard Chopp in Austin
A urologist in Austin, TX has, quite possibly, the most unfortunate name; Dr. Richard Chopp. It's almost like his parents were clairvoyants.
So he is Dick Chopp!!!

They are what they are and they ain't what they ain't. Is it thoughtful? Maybe! Would I brave a mall to go to that special store that someone loves and get them a giftcard instead of a gift? Likely not. If I'm doing gift cards, they are usually the visa cards that can be used like cash and not at any specific store. Of course, there is a little interest rate/service charge for using them. What I don't like is someone getting me a gift card at a place that is easy for them to purchase but hard for me to use. I have several of these still sitting around. Like one for Alamo Draft House Movie and Bar in Austin. I just used one for PF Changs that I received last Christmas.

Country life lifts her lonely head. I've only seen mimes and statues. Both have been pretty cool for the limited time I've watched.

Barf Boy and I went to sleep last night laughing over the names of his kids. We woke up this morning calling out more names. Thanks for the endless fun.
The award goes to Barf Boy with Lance, Ima, and Rich.

I use both. Bags for the hard to wrap tings and paper for the easy to wrap items. I'm not good at wrapping.

We usually have a living tree and plant it afterwards.....not that they due well. Past two years have had a blue-tipped juniper. The are planted on either side of the front porch (and so pretty with lights on each). This year we were looking at a loplolly cypress(?) but too much water needed to establish and we are in drought conditions. We settled for a 2 foot -rosemary bush shaped to look like a little tree. It will go in the herb garden and not require much water. We have also cut cedar trees from the land - trees we were going to cut anyway, but you really have to tie the branches up to make it look like a halfway decent tree.

Usually it's quietly stew or talk things out. Most of the time there is an "it is what it is" attitude. It's usually later, when thinking about the situation, that I start the stewing but I'm working to let that go too.

The economics of it are much bigger than I can put my brain around. I think there is a strong possibility we could move from recession to depression if all three fail. If the pres bails them out (since the senate did not vote for it) there need to be some serious stipulations that come with it. But the honest truth is I've listened to both sides argue their case and I still don't know what would be best for the country.

We had snow in the Texas hills this week. That has not happened in years. Big news. It was 80 the day before the snow and 60 the day after. Go figure.

I want to further answer that last question. I'm wanting to let go of ego. It's kinda big and would like to laugh it to the wind.

1. What was the last thing that raised your blood pressure? my pressure is always high
2. Were/are you swayed by peer pressure as a teen? How does peer pressure influence you now? As a teen, yes. As an adult - no!
3. Do you perform better or worse when under pressure? I work under pressure. I don't know if it makes me better or worse. Now, it feels normal.
4. How often do you have headaches? What do you do to relieve them? Not often. Take some type of pain medication -asprin or something similar
5. Vanilla Ice sampled Queen/David Bowie's Under Pressure to create his big hit, Ice Ice Baby without giving the original artists proper credit. Have you ever been in a situation where credit was due and not given? How did it make you feel? I work to give credit to others. If the credit was mine and not given, no problem - what I wanted to happen got done and it is usually in the name of education.

Lovely pictures. Thanks for sharing.

absolutly not! No way. Not even. There is not enough money in the world.

Sure, but there are also things one might post that can later come back and bite them. So one has to be careful. For example, employers are now searching out new hires on the web. I wouldn't put something that could be damaging later.

I'm not usually at the time but then when I think about it more, can take offense. Also depends on my mood.
We had snow in the Texas hills last night. Pretty and I've had enough. It was 80 degrees yesterday and then a front blew in and snow!! Go figure! And Barf Boy graduates tomorrow with his nursing degree

I would have problems with the talking to self and spontanious songs that break from mouth without permission from the brain.

I would form a corporation and the lottery ticket would become an assett of the comapany. Each of us would own 50% of the company. I certainly would split it but would not want to beresponsible for the taxes.

1. Do you curse/swear or otherwise use curse/swear words? I have a real potty mouth
2. Do you substitute faux curse words, like shoot or crap, for the real thing? Not as a substitute but I use those too.
3. Which curse words and phrases do you abuse most often? F bomb comes out often as does s hole
4. Are you annoyed or pleased when you hear movies, songs, or shows that have been edited to cover or replace inappropriate language? It's too minor to worry about but I get pissed when they cut out the great senual scenes.
5. What are your thoughts on the use of curses and swear words in modern society? Is it more or less prevalent than in previous generations? Is it fine or causing irreparable harm to our culture? Do you think we should create (or in some cases keep) laws forbidding cursing? With increased communication and technology we are exposed to more. When a cowboy cursed alone on the plane, did it not count because nobody heard him? I would much prefer to hear a creative stringing together of words with a bomb or two dropped in for effect than just a simple F bomb. For example, as a child I remember my family being stranded in an airport of three days due to dense weather and fog (my dad was a pilot and flew a 4 seater). We we finally arrived home after braving low visibility of flying and the day ended with a beautiful sunset, at 10 years old I will never forget my dad turning to mother and saying, Godd@mn it, Norma Jean. It's so clear you could see a hair on a nat's ass five miles away. Hair on a nat's ass five miles away is such a vivid image. The GD part completely conveys his anger. I thought then and still do that it was a brilliant line.

because I'm off until after the 1st!!! Yahoo!! I'm so excited to have 15 days off.
But after almost three years in house, we finally got e kitchen cabinets. So will spend the next few days putting a protective finish on the pecan and putting everything back in the kitchen. So what I'm saying is I'll be working around here.
