Glad he resigned. Way too many jerks carry the bullets!

Linda,
You are well loved. I hope your special day was the best!

He's a riot.

I think it would be a grunt job. Lots of hard work and little to show for it - fired at the whim of the person.

I listen to KGSR in Austin. You can stream it on kgsr.com. They have loads of local bands playing live in their studio. They put out a 2 cd volume after Thanksgiving as a fundraiser to help Austin musicians with chemical dependency/mental health problems.

To Patty Petty.............. when Barf Boy and I went to see Mudcrutch we spent several hours in Hollywood Forever - the cemetary of the stars. So much fun. He just bought this paranormal kit. We're staying at a haunted hotel - Le Pavillion and taking a haunted New Orleans tour. He loves it and it freaks me out.

I rarely get sick so when I feel that bad, my energy is gone and I'm sleeping. That is really best for those around me because I'm not a nice sick person. (bitchy, groaning, complaining, pouting)

1. Are you a fan of soup? yes
2. What is your favorite kind of soup? so many. Right now I'm thinking tortilla.
3. Are you a fan of nuts? Yes
4. What is your favorite kind of nut or dish containing nuts? Love the macadamia nut - of course i love the one with the most fat!
5. If you had to eliminate either soup or nuts from your diet for the rest of your life, which would you choose? probably be the nuts

I love them all. Book readings are so cool. Theatre is so fun. We went to see Spamalot two weeks ago - a riot. Wicked is also coming. The Broadway Across America series is a good thing for those of us who can't get to New York.

Probably time. I feel as if there are so many things to do and I don't want to give it up to other people unless there's something positive to result.

Weddings are so much fun. It's like the best party-ever. Everyone's happy and celebrating. All your friends and family around. If you can take the pressure off and just have fun with it. I would get married every year as a reminder of vows and celebration. Square One - isn't Halloween the best holiday ever??
We had some friends that had a Mardi Gras wedding theme. He wore a duct tape tux and she wore bubble wrap. Barf Boy was a damn good looking cross dresser. Actually a few men hit on him. Other friends (from caving days) have been married in caves. Several commercial caves in Texas Hill Country allow weddings as an after hours business. Sooooooooooo pretty with candles lighting up the rooms and walkways....the dripping, lighted cave formations
I love those weddings too.

Which wedding? Last? OK. Day of the Dead Wedding on Halloween. Everyone dressed up. It was at our house. The little picture that shows up with my name was the invitation. Married by a giant bumblebee. All the puppies had tuxedos and were the groomsmen. The preacher's dog was the flower girl with a giant flower around her head. We had the Grassy Knoll Boys play at wedding. It was lovely and fun. Too bad Barf Boy was sick and guess what..........BARFING!

Monday. I had gone to the dentist and kept my mouth open too long. Plus all the cleaning really does my head wrong. I shall have another today. I go to the eye doctor and when she dialates my eyes, I usually have a headache the rest of the day. Good thing it's gloomy outside.

early bird here

I remember some. Not great about it!

Oh to Echo and agirl, Barf Boy started his nursing career in Jan. He loves it. He's a night nurse on the Med-surg floor at a hospital in Austin. Geez, the man comes home with stories to tell....... ick!
I hope to change careers.

Yes, I thought about it for my 30th birthday and glad I didn't. Soon became trendy and I'm not fond of needles.

I tend not to read current media. Since I commute two hours a day, I pick up my news on National Public Radio. If I had all the time I wanted, I would like a mix of the two.....like Time and the New Yorker.

I would like it to be something cheap and useful....but I can't figure out what it would be......organic soaps and cleaning fluids....let's see how that works

Most of it does not leave the post office. I usually go once a week to retrieve it. I sort it and hand Bard Boy his. His sits around until I deal with it again. Mine is taken care of pretty quick. Left over stuff, in the winter, is burned in the stove and used to start fires.

Not into it

Wow! Lizzie - me too. I read this and felt relief not to deal with topic.

I think it depends on the music you like and what one is looking for in a music scene. Working in Austin and living less than an hour away, I'm voting for Austin. That said, it's a hard place to be a musician in some respects. While there are 50 music venues every night, it's highly competative and musicians crawl all over each other for $50/night +tips gigs
