Not a fan of city skylines

nope, sitting in ariport waiting to go home. I just called the office and most everyone's left.
This may be kinda, mildly interesting. I'm on the Texas - Mexico boarder. Easter is a huge family holiday in Mexico. My hotel was full of Mexican Nationals, parking lot full of cars from Mexico. Most of the schools on TX side have Good Friday and Easter Mondsy off. I was in the pool last night. It was close to the entrance and watched hundreds of shopping bags coming in.

I love that Ray Wiley Hubbard song when it came out.

Oh crap troublemaker, do you live next door to Barf Boy and me?
-
Hey? What's up with the Texas crap? I invite any of you to come on down this August and spend time in hell!
I like I told you I was sick.

1. Do you do spring cleaning? If so, what do you do? Cleaning sucks. No spring cleaning. Usually clean when someone's coming over for dinner.
2. What's the most cluttered area/room of your home? The entire house is full of clutter. I'm a slob and Barf Boy is worse. He leaves his tools after working on a project (like shelf or trim) and doesn't clean up the wood shavings either
3. How do you split up cleaning duties in your home? Do you have a system? How about a schedule? How about a system? Yes, Barf Boy makes a mess - hangs half worn clothes across any usable surface, leaves tools, soaks dishes instead of washes them, keeps running clothes is dryer so doesn't have to deal with them. I come home and point out the mess he made while I was gone. He laughs and continues process. I clean some and leave on another trip. Invite parents or friends over and we spend day cleaning. Repeat process.
4. What are your favorite and least favorite cleaning chores? I hate all aspects of cleaning equally.
5. If you could rid yourself of one household chore forever, what would it be and why? I need a cleaning service.

Frampton comes alive was pretty big

I love this thread. I'm more like Emmie in wanting the pages to unfold more slowly. The thing about song writiting is every word needs to be vivid and contribute to the picture. While the same is true in writing longers works, you get a bit more play. I've been told I'm too wordy.

Not being high rung on the ladder with any of those features, i don't have much to spare. how poor is poor? And how dumb is dumb? Could I be dumb, rich and pretty? I've been reading F. Scott Fitzgerald and it seems to work well for his female characters.

what other choice do i have?

I never thought of it until other people started making fun of it. Seems as if I have this slit or indentation between the two nostrils. I had never noticed. I guess I have a modified Nixon nose.

Current - Family Guy and South Park
Past - Friends and Andy Griffith (the one's with Barney)

Everything is up in the air. I'm supposed to raft the Grand Canyon on November 1. If the trip doesn't make, lots of vacation time is freed and there will be time to do more than pack and plan. I should find out in a week or two.
You all can always come early and retreat to the Hill Country for some r&r? Let me know it there's interest. I hope relic can make it too.

We will put in herbs. We put in some grapes a few weeks back but deer ate them. I pot tomatoes every year but they don't produce. The deer eat most everything. We need about 60 yards of good soil, a few days with a bobcat(scrape up the rocks), a few days with an heavy duty tiller and an 8' fence before we get serious. Living on top of a hill is rocky but we're not in anyone's flood zone!

3/4. I CRS all the time. People, places, names...... it is starting to scare me. I remember the old commercial.......a mind is a terrible thing to waste.

Likely not

Oh, and tea tree oil is great stuff. Use it for cuts, scrapes, back, foot rot, and other stuff.

1. Ladies and Gentlemen, do you wear perfume or cologne? not really. Sometimes I take hot baths with oils in them so I smell like the oils I used
2. What brand or kind of soap do you use most? It's liquid Dove
3. Do you use anything to scent your home (air freshner, candles, potpourri, scented oils, etc.)? Not often.
4. What's your favorite scent on a member of the gender to which you're attracted? Clean, soap smell. When I smell Old Spice it always reminds me of my father
5. Have you ever tried aromatherapy? If so, describe your experience; if not, do you think it might work? Yes, like I wrote I put oils in bath for relaxation. My favorite ex-husband's wife is big into Bach Essential Oils and uses them for healing. So when we're around them, we get lots of oil treatments for cuts, headaches. There's this one I keep around the house and use when stressed. I can't remember what it's called and doggies are tucked in around me or I'd go look. We spray in dog's mouth during thunder storms. I used to carry it when I traveled but got out of the habit when they banned liquids. Would use it before I did a presentation Another I used to carry is called Thief's Blend. It's supposed to be an ancient blend the thevies would wear when robbing the graves of people who died during the plague. I used it in airplane's canned air and in hotels.

yes, I have some. I have to agree with agirl. There are many things I don't tolerate well so is that a prejudice? Like I don't tolerate excessive talkers so am I prejudice against them? I wouldn't hire one if I interviewed one.

I agree with Lizzie. Also with plants in Amazon basin going extinct at alarming rates combined with both drug research based on plant extractions and so many plants not having been classified, we truly don't know if we will loose the potential cancer cure by our lack of concern.

Those Texas Hill Country river are the best for me. So sad we're in a drought.
