I confess that the waning days of the old Official board has become increasingly nauseating....with people repeateding dragging up old threads using the customary period . and posting only Tom Petty quotes in the quote thread. If no one has anything to say, then I wish they would just shut that board down.

I confess I don't understand why so many want to see 6 or 7 shows every tour. I'm sorry, I love the band and all, but seriously...all the shows sound pretty much the same.Oh, I know!
But there are some who see live concerts every week, numerous times a month. I don't know, that would get old with me very quickly. That seems more like a chore than a pastime.

I confess that I would not want to be them. Over at the Official board there are a handful of people who really seem live only for live concerts. They never talk of anything else. Are their lives that shallow? Granted, I know concerts are fun...however, is there a point where some people can become addicted to having to see live concerts rather than just occassionally seeing them? I don't know....I'd hate to have only that as the focus of my life...every minute of the day.
