^ Awesome accomplishment, Susan. :023: I love that my younger son trusts me enough to have told me something that was actually very embarrassing.

The Mr. and I do virtually everything these days. Even though we used to have a gardener, etc, I'm now too cheap/"frugal" to hire someone to do something until we're sure we can't do it ourselves.

No, not for us. I've made a conscious effort to reject the consumerism of the season, and am so far succeeding.

^ Well, I'm glad that at least one of us is looking forward to this performance! That photo of Madonna is scary. She needs to step away from the Botox, lol. -

Great news! I agree, a European tour is WAY overdue. -
It's official: Madonna to perform at Super Bowl halftime show by Dan Snierson Confirming a not-so-well-kept secret, the NFL and NBC announced today during tonight’s Detroit Lions-New Orleans Saints game that Madonna will indeed be the featured performer at the Super Bowl XLVI halftime show on Feb. 5 in Indianapolis. The 53-year-old Material Girl — whose romantic drama W.E. just happens to be hitting theaters two days before the game — will collaborate with Cirque du Soleil and Jamie King for the big gig. She is currently recording an album that’s slated to be released in 2012. http://music-mix.ew.com/2011/12/04/madonna-super-bowl-halftime/

None scheduled. I only go to the doctor if something hurts; thankfully, it's been a long time since something has (knock on wood).

Sunny, but chilly.

Congratulations on your decision, Lotta!

Tom Petty in Rolling Stone (1145: 12-08-11)

I'd love it if this entire statement is true: shows at little places rather than big tours, as well as deep cuts. I think it's possible; they have got to be getting tired of doing the major tours! And let's face it, they're not as young as they used to be. -
I can't believe my concert buzz from the Northridge show still has not worn off. Not that I'm complaining. :003:

I never tried any of these. I was a Hubba Bubba woman, lol.

I'm a few days late with this, but I LOVE that JR and Karina won on "Dancing With the Stars" this season.

Hope everyone's Thanksgiving was as nice as ours was. Favorite part of the evening: After telling my 33-year-old nephew about the Northridge show, he gave me a bad time (as usual) about still being a TPATH fan after all these years. My response: "Tom looks better than you do...and he's 61." :icon_laugh:
