1. One place you volunteer (or would like to)? All my volunteering is at school right now. I would like to help out with our church's food bank.
2. One book you'd like to see made into a movie? None. The movie is never as good as the book.
3. One creature (living, extinct, or mythical) you'd like for a pet? A dinosaur, lol.
4. One place on Earth you'd like to visit? Russia.
5. One talent or skill you'd like to develop? I'd like to re-learn the guitar.

Thank you very much for yer time and understanding & patience.
I know I can be a bit much some times, but it comes with and from the experiences I’ve partaken there-of, OK?
Danny, it has been such a pleasure to read your posts! I look forward to hearing more about this band as well, and I also suspect that Stan is the mystery drummer.

I wish I could stop procrastinating about this project.

Hasn't this woman ever heard of the Pill? :jpshakehead:

It doesn't bother me what kind of nicety people want to say to me. I'd rather hear Happy Solstice, Kwanzaa, Satan Day, whatever day than the mean spirited crap most people say to and about each other these days. Its not worth any energy on my part to get worked up over which Happy Whatever I'm being wished. Heck, they could be telling me to F-off, so I'm happy to see a smile and any well wish once in awhile.Very well said, Linda!

I'm pretty sure this group was in the Santa Cruz shopping district last Friday. I like the concept of "Buy Nothing Day".

I've been making other stuff out of the leftovers: potato and turkey soup, a casserole thing, and (my favorite) turkey quesadillas.
^ Marleen, I'll bet Toni can.Actually, I don't do much baking. I did find a really easy recipe for you, Marleen.

My current book was worth bumping this thread, lol.
I started "Girls of Riyadh" by Rajaa Alsanea yesterday, and am already almost done with it. The story behind it is fascinating:
