  1. I honestly don't know who this is, but I've heard a LOT of good stuff about "A Face in the Crowd" and will be watching this movie shortly.
  2. Creative expression, plus the money.
  3. One of the mob movies such as The Godfather...as long as I could be sure I wouldn't get killed. LOL.
  4. I am shocked too, and am so sad for his baby girl.
  5. ^ I LOVE his pompous song: "But the legend of the rent was past due." :icon_laugh: :icon_laugh::icon_laugh:
  6. I have no idea because I would never get a tattoo.
  7. I prefer locally owned restaurants.
  8. I was fired from a job for poor performance while I was in my 20s. However, in a few months I may well be the victim of a layoff; rumors are flying. :icon_rolleyes:
  9. Danny, I'd forgotten about that hilarious comment! Awesome pictures, everyone! I also spoke with Brian Ray downstairs, when we were getting ready to leave. What a kind and down-to-earth man he is.
  10. I confess that I have probably watched "School of Rock" with Jack Black at least 8 or 10 times by now, and it still makes me laugh.
  11. I learned that we need to have a discussion about our vacation plans for spring break.
  12. It was probably about the SF Giants spring training ticket sale; I ranted about that one for a few days.
  13. I made it to this show, too. What a wonderful night! Brian Ray's band was very enjoyable, and of course the Knobs were, too. A favorite moment was Mike's stalling tactic when some minor technical difficulties surfaced early in the show: "So what's wrong with Axl Rose anyway? Discuss." :icon_laugh:
  14. Apparently, they're still trying to work out the details, but I don't think that's the case.
  15. Oh, I am SO sad to read this! My condolences to Patty and her family.
  16. If this actually does happen, we'll probably just add it our kids' college funds.
  17. Right now, all we have is a rabbit.
  18. I learned that phyllo dough is a pain in the ass to work with.
  19. I don't think they'll do "Freefallin," which is fine with me. Definitely "Runnin Down a Dream" and "I Won't Back Down."
  20. What would you do with a tax rebate of $800 to $1600? http://money.cnn.com/2008/01/18/news/economy/rebate_how_it_works/index.htm?section=money_mostpopular
  21. Awesome news, Emmie! :023: Congrats to your son!
