Nah, the Farm isn't being swallowed up by anyone or anything. It sounds like you are thinking about shutting down the site for lack of interest. Tons of people don't use Facebook or even smartphones, and that's where Mudcrutch Farm steps in. The Farm isn't what it was in 2000 because people move on to try these new things and when they can't figure it out, give up on everything. That's not a reason to consider shutting down the site. A lot of us OLDIES don't post anymore, but I do to keep this site going. I've always tried to post things to bring new fans to the site. You ask what is Mudcrutch Farm. Well, I'll tell you. It was a dream of Tom Petty's that never worked out. BUT he never gave up and went on to become 1 of America's greatest bands and then after 30 years brought back his beloved dream of Mudcrutch! He never gave up and should be an inspiration to all people of the world to never give up on your dreams. And by that I mean you as Mudcrutch. #2 Where do we go from here? Add #3 too. Maybe try adding video's of TPATH or even video's from members of themselves doing TPATH and even covers of other bands to draw new fans. Just make sure everyone has their songs covered from law suits.....lol. #4 What should stay the same....Most of the posting should stay, people DO have things to say. The last thing I'm going to say is that I believed in you when I 1st found this site and traveled across the state to meet you when you were at Bowling Green and we spent the night partying around town and finally at what you called a flop house...lol. We left the next morning for Milwaukee to see TPATH at Summerfest 2003 and we had the best of times meeting all the Mudcrutch Farm members. I still hope to get together with everyone again. All we have now are memories, but with your help keeping this place alive, we have hope of doing it again. Hang in there Ryan, I believed in you, believe in us. Thanks....................your friend... Nurk.

Thought you might be interested in this pedal by Electro Harmonix. It's called the "Canyon Delay and Looper". I'm thinking of getting one, but I'm going to take a couple days or a week to watch every video on youtube of this stomp box. There are some pretty nice sounds that come out of this little box. Here is just 1 of many videos available to listen to it.

I heard Amazon is going to start selling concert tix too. I wonder what that will do to the ticket industry! I haven't heard any specifics on the Amazon deal yet, but there has to be a catch to get great seats, like join Amazon prime for $100 a year. BUT, how would that work along side of TPATH's club for front seats? This is going to get complicated, but interesting to follow and see how things work out. I'm all for everyone jumping in to sell tix at face value, but I just don't see it working for the fans. Any group or company that will sell tix in the future is ONLY in it for the money, not the public interest. No one cares if you get a ticket for face value, they want their cut. In the end, it's all about the money they make, not the fans that put up the money to buy tix. TS and all are basically scalping their own tix and making you buy their LP's to make even more money. How many Millions of dollars do they need? American Greed at its finist!!!!!

I don't think The Hollywood Bowl shows this year will be any different than past shows. You stick with what works. As far as a "Wildflowers Tour", I don't know where that came from, it doesn't even make sense to me. The cost of a tour is unbelievable these days, and no one, not even TPATH can justify that cost to put on a tour with music from 1 LP. The only group I can think of to pull that off is The Beatles and that's not gonna happen. TPATH has a beautiful 40 year history and it should go on forever. I'd like to see them move on to the next step and just sit back and relax and start writing new songs and forget tours the next few years. Start writing like the old days, get that punch back, get that rebel back! Just because we get older doesn't mean we have to act old or write older songs. A ballad is ok here and there, but we were born to rock, we're baby boomers!! This IS our last stand!!!!!!!

As long as they sell tickets and their health is good, I say they will continue to tour. Why would you quit doing what you love and pass up all that money?. IF nothing else, they can always pull a 1966 Beatles ploy and just record new LP's, and that's not a bad deal either. At least we'd still have new music. I think we'll still be here talking about new music and tours for their 50th anniversary!!!!!!!!

Yardwork yesterday and today. Cut grass yesterday and just did weedwacking today. Taking a short break and then go back out to trim bushes in front of the house. When I get that done and clean up the mess, I just might go back out and mount 2 flag poles on the front of the house. I bought 2 - 3 foot by 5 foot flags, 1 the USA flag and 1 Italian flag. I'm going to put the flag pole mounts at the same height, but the American flag will go on a 6 foot pole and the Italian flag on a 5 foot pole. That way the American flag will fly the highest. I'd really like to get this all done today, cuz it's supposed to rain tomorrow. Other than that, I have to go to the neighbors wedding Friday and have a mini family reunion Saturday and then an Italian Fest Sunday in my mom's old neighborhood. Christ you know it ain't easy, I need a rest just thinking about it!!!!!
