seems to me that tom has scheduled this tour in 3 legs: 1st- may 30th til june 25th 2nd- july 2nd til 23rd 3rd- aug 7th til aug 29th i think they will take a break for a week after the june 25th show at the hollywood bowl, because, why would they play cleveland, ohio the 22nd and then go straight to hollywood for the 25th? after that, they start again in chicago on july 2nd and do ohio again and indy, doesn't make sense. and continue on to the southeast coast and back to the midwest by july 23rd. then 2 weeks off! leg 3 starts in maryland hieghts , mo on aug 7th and they were just in KC the 22nd of july, why not stay in the area and do all the shows at 1 time? next up is canada from east to west and end up at the gorge for 2 shows. then on to glendale, cali and texas. so, in nurktwin terms, there are 3 weeks open to add cities, so don't get too worried. chances are there will be a show scheduled near you.

it played right off the bat for me, but i had to watch a 30 second planters peanuts commercial 1st!!!! but it was great watching that, i loved it. you could see tom didn't want to talk football and manning didn't even know who tom was....lol. seems like this sunday, rock n roll meets football and neither side knows the other.

Escaped Convict A man breaks into a house to look for money and guns. Inside, he finds a young couple in bed. He orders the guy out of the bed and ties him to a chair. While tying the homeowner's wife to the bed the convict gets on top of her, kisses her neck, then gets up & goes into the bathroom. While he's in there, the husband whispers over to his wife: "Listen, this guy is an escaped convict. Look at his clothes! He's probably spent a lot of time in jail and hasn't seen a woman in years. I saw how he kissed your neck. If he wants sex, don't resist, don't complain...do whatever he tells you. Satisfy him no matter how much he nauseates you. This guy is obviously very dangerous. If he gets angry, he'll kill us both. Be strong, honey. I love you!" His wife responds: "He wasn't kissing my neck. He was whispering in my ear. He told me that he's gay, thinks you're cute, and asked if we had any Vaseline. I told him it was in the bathroom. "Be strong honey" I love you too.

we'll see, he still has to play the hits for new fans that come to see that. it's a tough situation to be in. play hits for newbies or play old or new stuff for us oldies. gotta be hard.

i said percussion because i play drums and can explode at and minute....lol.

hell, last time we went to the bowl, i got to sit and meet all kinds of stars. let me see if i remember all their names. ref, lotta, barb, marion, beth, johni, anna, mark, carol, sharon. who am i forgetting, there were more. and i'll never forget that girl hanging out the car window, woohooing 3 people walking up the street having a great time carrying beer and wine to the hotel. it was me, anna and mark. that was so much fun. we'll do it again!!!!!

the hall is closer to akron and i might stay there for a party.

i agree, why would someone pass up front row center. my guess is that they didn't get everything completed in time for the purchase and the tix went back into the pool.

barb, i don't know what to tell you on reg tix or a package, but i went for dream packages and after those cities, i tried reg tix for cleveland and came up with 3rd row and took it. so it's a toss-up, but i think the hollywood bowl will be tougher and i'm just going straight to a dream package. good luck and i'll see you in june.

i think that after you get the 1st dream package every other package should come with an option to get the good seat for reg price. after all, how many books and t-shirts do i need? and i agree with colin, drinks and snacks for the whole house.....lol.

well, we are still going out to dinner 1 night.

most everyone seems to be getting good seats and the process hasn't screwed up yet. i still have another hour to go for the hollywood bowl and that might be a tough show because all the movie stars have season tix for the prime seats. but last tour we got good seats for the bowl, so hopefully that show will go smoothly too. who knows, maybe jeff will show up again or maybe even ringo to join tom onstage for 'handle with care'.

are you bringing ribs from oklahoma joe's to the show???, you know we have to go there and eat.

oh ellyn, the tix are only part 1. part 2 is airline tix and part 3 is getting hotel rooms.

max of 4 tix per show, max of 8 tix for the whole tour.
