i voted good, it wasn't something i'd pick out to do. but those jangly guitars made me listen and my fellow nurktwin liked it and wanted to do it. when he gets to my house and tries out all these ric 12 string guitars, he just goes nuts and that got him into tpath. it's the sound baby!!

i'm gonna try to make a poll to see if you guys like this song that the "nurktwins" are in the process of recording. we just have a rhythm guitar and a bass guitar tracks down right now. next i'll lay down a drum track and then a tambourine track. after that, i'll pull out all my ric 12 string guitars and decide which 1 to use. right now, in my head, i'm thinking the tom petty signature 660/12. and yes, ric's are great for that jingly-jangly sound, but they do all have a sound of their own. this song is a pretty simple song done by phil collins, and you'll clearly recognize the beatle references. even the words "anytime at all, i'll be there" from the 'hard days night album' song called 'anytime at all'. if this link and poll works, just vote for the music, NOT the video. link to vodeo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZG_88F8fd3M&feature=related

oh, don't buy the model 9140, it only has 1 dvd drive. the 9150 has 2, 720 hard drive (2 drives) instead if 640 (2 drives) hard drive. and the 9150 is only $5 more.....lol. it's a no brainer.

i just bought the tower. but last sunday (for this week) circuit city has the whole package with 19" monitor and an all in one printer for $1299. for another $250 you can get a 22" monitor.

as some of you know, i got a new main pc a couple weeks ago. but it's vista and i'm getting used to it. anyway, i downloaded a tpath concert to burn, and not thinking, downloaded it to the new pc instead of my b/u pc for burning. so i thought what the hell, burn it from here, and i didn't load any of my own programs on here yet. i right clicked the zipped file and opened it, and i didn't even have winzip on here yet. the file opened and i highlighted the files for disk 1 and then clicked 'burn'. a page opened in 2 seconds and showed the 13 files (songs) were on the disk!!!!! i couldn't believe a disk can be burnt that fast so i waited 5 minutes. nothing came up telling me it was done and there's not even a toolbar that shows you to progression of the burning process!! after 10 minutes i just took out the cd and was ready to shit can it, but i put in in the player and it works. so for disk 2 i decided to to see if it would happen again, and after i hit 'burn' 2 seconds later that same window came up and said the 10 songs are on the disk. i immediately closed the program and removed the disk and put it in the player. guess what, it's all there!!!! how the hell can you burn a cd in 2 seconds? i've never seen it or heard of a cd burning that fast. i figured 3-4 minutes. i'm stunned.
