^ Tomfest, while in Hollywood you have to stop by Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles. Many locations, the 1 on Gower St. usually has a long waiting list, so try the 1 on Pico Blvd. https://www.roscoeschickenandwaffles.com/ MENU https://www.roscoeschickenandwaffles.com/our-menu

Thanks, I'll post some pix of my brothers.

My brother just bought an old acoustic guitar at an auction. He thinks it's from the 1930's, but can't find any info on it. Has anyone here heard of a "BELDEN' guitar? If so, what do you know about them? It looks like it has a rounded steel nut at the top of the neck. Any ideas?

I don't know why, but I'm on a roll with sweets! I bought a new Palmer Pizzelle Iron for Christmas and this past weekend made 13 dozen anise pizzelles. I haven't made them in years and now the time was right and I used my mothers recipe, they came out great. I bought a ton of extracts, Anise, Orange, Lemon, Almond, Vanilla, Rum, Maple and more. I have my Grandmothers and my Aunts recipe's and I'll try those too with anise seeds and different flavors. I also bought lemon and orange peels and food colors so I can make colored icings and glazes with different flavors. I'm going to make Maple twist cinnamon rolls with a tan Maple glaze next. After that I plan on making "No Bake" Cocoa Oatmeal Cookies, I haven't made those in over 20 years. That's about it for now, see ya later.

I've been eating ceci & fava since I was a couple years old at my grandmothers and then at home with parents too. I still buy them today at our local Italian store. Rulli Brothers. http://www.rullibrothers.com/weekly-specials?documentId=110

You can buy these already made in specialty Italian food stores. They come alone or mixed with roasted Fava Beans, that I normally buy. They are salted and called "Ceci & Fava". Here a picture and a place to buy them online for $6.99 a pound. https://nuts.com/snacks/chickpeas/ceci-fava.html

"Time wounds all heels" John Lennon's response when he received his green card for permanent residency in the USA and was asked if he had any bad feelings about President Nixon, Attorney General John Mitchell, South Carolina Senator Strom Thurmond and FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover for wanting him deported. Heel: a contemptible person : a person who is self-centered or untrustworthy
