Does anyone here own a Gibson Les Paul with exposed Burstbucker 60T & 60R humbuckers? I'm thinking of buying the Les Paul Classic and I want to put covers on the pickups. I want to put 2 slot covers on that look like a Rickenbacker Toaster Pickup. But, I need to know the exact size of the burstbuckers and spacing between slots to match the Burstbucker poles. Anyone have this info? I'll show you the pickups and the covers I want to buy.

I went to Cleveland Clinic yesterday for tests and scans. All the Dr's (4) had big smiles and said I was doing great and "cancer free" as of now. I have to go back every 3 months for now for checkups. A 2nd major operation was in the works to help make my tongue move more and put a trough on the bottom left side of mouth for saliva to flow backwards to stomach instead of forward out of mouth. That operation would make it easier for me to talk and eat, but I'm not ready for another major surgery. But, they now say that since the tongue and mouth are doing so well, that I can do a minor outpatient surgery (1 1/2 hour) to free up tongue and put trough in mouth and I can go home the same day. The 2 surgeons will work together as they did on my 1st operation. The 1st will cut and repair and the 2nd is a plastic surgeon that will put me back together with such tiny stitches that you can't see them! So far everything looks good, I think I'll go out today and buy something to drink, nothing in the house!!!!! TTYL...................Nurktwin.

A few days ago I asked what you thought of the new Fender Tele Plasma red burst with binding. I couldn't make up my mind to buy it fast enough and the 1 I wanted sold. The remaining 1 doesn't have the nice wood grain like the 1 that sold. I'll have to wait for more to come in at Sweetwater. Now I'm looking at the new Gibson Les Paul "CLASSIC". I like the Vintage Cherry sunburst, but I like the "Translucent Cherry" even more. I'll Show Pix of each below to show you and see which 1 you'd buy. I'm going to post a video too about the "Les Paul Classic" with sounds, and review and a few of the colors it comes in. Let me know what you would buy, the
Tele or Les Paul Classic or both?LP Cherry

Tomfest, make sure you check out the mall at Hollywood & Hiland. It's just a few steps from the Magic Castle. Lots of shops and restaurants.

Is it normal that Google is doing content tracking and Facebook is doing social media tracking here on The Farm?????? If so, why?

Make your Squier or any cheap guitar play like an expensive Fender with a foam sanding block and some steel wool from Home Depot.

^ Thanks, I'll be leaving about 5am Tuesday. I have 6 appointments throughout the day. 1st is blood tests at 8am, then Scans of my head, neck and chest with and without IV to inject dye. After that I have appointments with each of my 4 primary doctors, Surgeon that took me apart, Surgeon that put me back together, Radiologist and Oncologist for the remainder of the day. I probably won't get back home til after dark.

Thanks Marion. Tomfest, check out this 24/7 restaurant 50's diner style. Walk from hotel down N. Orange to Hollywood Blvd. Straight across the street is the Roosevelt Hotel, on the ground floor is a full glass door with the number 25 on it, go in, that's the restaurant. It's called "25 Degrees". take a red leather booth or walk up to the counter and have a seat to eat there. I ordered the Hamburger and an order of fries. The order of fries must have been 5 pounds! They filled me up and then they brought this huge hamburger that had to be at least 1 pound. I couldn't finish it. Of course that burger and fries will set you back about $30. Here is a link for the restaurant with a few pictures.

BTW, from the Castle's front door, just cross the street and go down N. Orange St to Hollywood Blvd or turn left at front door and walk 1/2 block to Hiland Ave and turn right to Hollywood. It's all close. If you turn left at Hiland and walk up the hill, the Hollywood Bowl is on the left. We all walked the few times we saw TPATH there.
