I have MLB on YouTube TV, but it's winter and I haven't watched that channel yet. Not sure what games will come on, but preseason has had the Yankees and more.

Guitar was shipped today, should have it Wednesday. I hope it arrives safe and sound and it's the right guitar!

Hi, I've been busy today and haven't tried this out yet. Tonight, I'm listening to Jeff Lynne solo LP's and have a thought. Since we have Gibson LP's that are DC Jr's, I think we should try to play an early ELO song called "10538 Overture" on our guitars. I think we can probably get close to that sound just cranking it up on our single P90 Jr's without pedals! I've been busy with dumping cable TV, and remodeling some rooms and finally got all the plumbing done. Still have to check on carpeting and more. Also need to measure about 10-11 guitar pedals and check into a pedal board, not sure what board to buy yet or just build one. Anyway, what do you think of trying 10538 on the JR?

I returned all my cable boxes this morning and cut out cable tv. I've had enough of cables high prices to watch TV and when they started charging to watch local TV that is free OTA, that was enough. Plus they made cable boxes manditory to watch cable and charge you for each box and recorder when it should be free boxes if it's manditory. All I kept for now is Internet connection because I signed up for You Tube TV and need internet to connect. I get over 70 channels on You Tube for $50 a month, plus I can watch Amazon Prime movies, TV, and music and even stream my PC to big screen. If I can find a way to get high speed internet without Sat or DSL, I'll dump Time Warner on that too. We should have another 1000 new satellites up by the end of the year specifically for TV and internet, so new stuff is on the way and will be free or cheaper than cable. I've cut my cable bill from $210 a month to $70 and more on the way. When you look at it as 200 a month for 10 years, that's $24,000!!!!!!!

YUP! Same looking guitar with less stuff! and less price!!!!!! I like it, I'll report back Wednesday after it arrives. I hate ordering online and then wonder for days if it will arrive safe and undamaged. Then I hope it's what I expected and sounds like, without seeing and trying in a shop and taking home if I like it. This new way of living sucks, lets get back to the old days when you could easily go to a shop in your neighborhood and try this shit out. The "Humpback inlays on the frets and the Bigsby sold me on this guitar for this price. After checking numerous sites, I can't find this model anywhere! Maybe it's discontinued? I don't know, but I like it and they only have 1 left after I bought mine.

I just ordered another guitar today, should be here Wednesday 2/26/20. I told you I was looking at a sister Gibson with 2 P 90's. Then I mentioned a couple Gretsch double cutaways, 1 natural wood grain and 2 Tahiti red with Bigsby. Well I just ran across a Gretsch DC with 2 HB pickups with Bigsby B5 and Humpblock fretboard inlays (like George Harrison's Duo Jet) in Firebird red that I love, so I ordered it. It was only $499!! It's basswood instead of mahogany like the ones for $100 more, but hey, Fender uses a lot of basswood for their guitars too. And Fender now owns Gretsch. Anyway, here's a picture of the guitar I just ordered.

Yikes, I just tuned up this Gibson and plugged it into my Vox Beatle amp and it sounds amazing. There's a P90's crunch even at low watts. I can go from 2 watts to 20 to 50 and up to 200 watts on rotary knob with my amp head and 4X12 Beatle cab. This is great!!!!!! Here's a pix of 1 of my amps.

Yeah, I'm not crazy about gig bags, but a lot of guitars today come with nothing! I hate that, all guitars should come with hard case, God knows they charge enough to include them.

I'm still thinking about ordering the sister to the JR that has 2 P90's. I'm just worried that they will both sound almost identical besides looking the same. No reason to have 2 identical guitars that sound alike. There is an inexpensive & expensive way to get another Double Cutaway that would sound completely different than the Gibson, and that's with Gretsch. Electromatic's are $499 without Bigsby and $599 with Bigsby. Then there are the high end Gretsch's that cost up to $2700 for the Malcolm Young model.
