Just a little lesson in Bass strings, but basically for guitars too.

^ Sounds like a comment from Jeff Lynne and ELO or from James T. Kirk.

Let's end this misery and this "THREAD". There is no "TRUE" Maxwell House story and this should be forgotten. This story has as much truth as "The Paul Is Dead" story from 1966. Get over it, move on!!

Back to the real Maxwell House coffee. It's not the same good old coffee of yesteryear. It just plain sucks today. We switched to "8 O'Clock" coffee years ago. It's a million times better and you can buy it at your store in a lot of flavors either ground or whole bean. We buy the whole bean and grind it right in the store with the "8 O'Clock" grinder next to the coffee bags. It's a bit more expensive (about $18 a 36 ounce bag), but wait for their sales and get it for $9.97 a bag. Sometimes the small 12 ounce bags go on sale for $2.77 and that's the best deal you can get around here. 3 X 12 oz @ $2.77 = $8.31 for 36 oz, great deal.

The problem with this is it looks like 38 dates and 15 guests! We know Chis is not having 15 guests at any 1 show. So who is showing up where? I'd only buy tickets for a show near me with the DK's and we have no idea by this schedule who's going to appear anywhere. Piss poor tour announcement by Chris, his management, record label, or whoever put this up!

Actors from Star Trek that have passed away from original series (Sept 1966) til today (whenever this video was made).

Hmmm, close up of the Epi Excellente sound hole shows the old original blue rectangle label inside and it says "Made In Nashville, Tenn." That explains the $900 price tag. I'm gonna keep my eye on this. I wonder when they will begin shipping these.

If you're going to hang around 40 years and change bandmembers every so often, why don't you change the band name too? It would save a lot of legal hassles.

I heard about this pedal that mimics a Tube Screamer and more, so I checked it out online. Do any of you have 1 of these and if so, how do you like it? Check it out and scroll down to watch the 15 minute video showing what it does.

Concerts would be great too. I think we probably did that too when we sent out DVD's.

Remember the old days when we used to make CD's and ship them all over the world and then have a listening party on Friday nights after everyone got their CD's? You always did the count down for all of us to start the CD's and then we'd all be in a room to chat while the music was playing. We should have a listening and chat party again some day. We'll just pick an LP we all have and listen to that.

D’Addario EJ38H Phosphor Bronze High Strung Nashville Acoustic Guitar Strings
Nashville tuning uses the high strings typically found in a 12-string set. It’s a secret studio weapon featured on loads of classic records, such as Petty’s “Free Fallin’,” the Stones’ “Jumpin’ Jack Flash,” and Kansas’s “Dust in the Wind.” Doubling parts with a Nashville-strung guitar creates a pseudo-12-string effect, but inevitable variations in performances generate complex harmonic relationships that make Nashville tuning uniquely different. Warm, bright, and balanced, D’Addario EJ38H Phosphor Bronze High Strung Nashville acoustic strings are custom-designed for the perfect Nashville sound. For something a little different, give Nashville tuning a spin!
