I'm so happy for all of you - you're all going to have a blast !! The one time I decide not to come to Philly, everyone else will be there!I know Ellyn - don't remind me... all that planning and the "till pinning head!"
Plus, of course, having us both there on top of the rest might just be too much for the band - hate to be responsible for this being their farewell tour!

Just rewatched it again... more thoughts!
Of Course we all love Tom... that goes without saying, you'd have to have been living under a rock these past 30 years to not recognize him or his songs, BUT
was this NOT a showcase for Mike?!!! :003: I am thrilled at how much time they spent on him. How many casual fans or non-listeners left that performance saying "who was that guitar player? OMG! he rocks!!!"
Maybe now Mike will get the credit he is long overdue as one of the top musicians in his field.
and of course, more Scott time than I could have ever hoped for! :heart::heart::heart:
Benmont and Ron and Steve, not as much so - gives me more reason to look forward to the shows where I can put my focus where I want, not where the camera tells me to go!

Not like new music is always a chore, but becoming familiar with the Crowes last time around was a bit more than I could take. Arc of a Diver = incredible!
