Hair roots? Yep. I have an appointment to have them covered up this Saturday. Family roots? Yep. I had a genealogical adventure weekend not long ago: took pix of the grave markers, visited with distant relatives and looked at old pix. I'm also in the local genealogical society.

I enjoyed Rain on PBS. Right after the show, my local station aired The Who live - THAT was something else. Whew!

I adore this photo. There's something endearingly cute and simultaneously mischevious about the whole thing. I bought at 8x10 autographed version from Ebay not long ago. TP now hangs on my living room wall and I can oogle him in his jammies anytime I like :003:

As long as the humidity stays low, open the windows wide. Once the humidity creeps into the icky/sticky area the AC is turned on during the heat of the day...and off for the cooler nights.

OMG! How unbelievably cool.

^No problem Marion. One of my friends works with the host of the show, so I may be able to obtain a copy. Listened to myself - yeah me! Even my mom and dad (in their 70s) tuned in and called me right after the show to say they enjoyed listening.

Oh sure. Shouldn't be a problem...so long as all those basic necessities are taken care of.

Very nice find. Luscious live photos. Thanks!

If someone can record, please do. I will also ask the host for a copy of the show. FYI for those of you wondering what the artists will sound like -- you can listen to several tracks on the myspace page...tracks are from The Bravery, The last shadow puppets, The Beatles, Those Transatlantics, SEABIRD, White Rabbits, Morissey, Elliot Smith, Jeff Hanson, The Bridges, Travis, Love and Rockets, and Donavon Frankenreiter.

I'm happy to tell you all that this Saturday evening I am doing a 5 song guest set on a radio show called "The Set List." I'll play CD's and introduce the tracks & explain my "theme" for building this particular collection of music (1 TP song included!) The show is from 9pm-11pm Eastern, and I don't know when my set will be on. If you're in the mid- or northern area of Michigan, you can probably pick up WCMU at 89.5 FM. Otherwise, listen live online at http://www.wcmu.org/radio.html A complete track listing will appear on The Set List's myspace page Regarding the upcoming show, the site says "The Set List will spin Seabird and The Last Shadow Puppets, MI artists Those Transatlantics and Ultraviolet Hippopotamus, and Julie's guest set takes us on a journey." There are also old set lists and songs from previous shows. Your ears will get a workout listening to the show -- it's an interesting combination of music -- old, new, alternative, classic. And, the host is always looking for other listeners to do guest set lists...

:003: What a great review Kira! I can really feel the energy and emotion of your experience. Can't wait for the next review....

Congrats Flower! I've never won a TPATH trivia contest on the radio, but waaay back when I was a young thing, I often won an album by reporting the local football score first. Matter of fact, that's how I got Fleetwood Mac's "Rumours"...

The local PBS stations, VH1, BookTV.

Privacy, without a doubt.

Hope you had a great day Beamish!

I said the singer's voice, but truly - there needed to be an option for all of the above. I "soak up" the whole experience of going to and being at the concert.

Nothing I'd call "fun" or exciting" - laundry, cooking, cleaning, writing & planning for an upcoming event...

LOL! I think we all need to revamp our occupations now -- from now on I'll be known as the "Webinar Wonder."

Another update -- Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers 33.53 % Dokken is still the nearest competitor at 24.18 % Guns N' Roses are running 3rd with 20.62 %

That's too funny.

His secret love is researching old documents. He has to wear gloves to protect the documents. Plus, he has stock in a glove company and is hoping that by wearing gloves all of the time, gloves will again return to fashion and therefore increase his personal net worth. :003: [LOL - I have no idea where that came from.]

It actually doesn't freak me out at all. It's just another one of those weird things we humans do...
