October 24 was the "Family History Detectives Day" I was chairperson of, so I've been putting off a number of projects... *Get the home office in working order (started!) *Send letters and packages I've had sitting around *Readdress the budget & money *Read up on blogging *Contemplate Xmas gifts - it's that time of the year *Take stuff to the thrift store *Mom's birthday is coming up - what to do? *Better organize and focus on the genealogical research *and on and on... (and yes, it was a very successful day. So successful we're doing it again next year and I'm chairing again!)

Any place I go on a regular basis is within 2-3 miles of where I live -- work, Meijer (groceries & other general stuff), staples, target, fast food & other restaurants. Some places I can walk to: library is 3 blocks, dairy queen is 1 block (great in the summer), and there's a rite aid 2 blocks away. Heck, even my hair salon is a block away!

Optimist. I try to see the best in everyone & everything. Doesn't always work, but that's part of being human, too.
