The mundane comes to life and nature becomes expressive of spirit. The interesting thing about this Knight is the ability to switch from fantasy to reality. There are exceptions to the rule, but this is the type that may have had imaginary friends as a youngster. Their stuffed animals also were great companions. The Queen’s Knight will see the good in almost anyone or anything – but their depth of emotion can remain hidden even from themselves. Circumstances tend to reveal sudden responses. Not all life is rosy and this Knight is not exempt from disappointment or frustration with humanity. They may feel incompetence when dealing with their own ethical values. Things aren’t simply white black, but a grand battle of Good versus Evil. Evil must be reckoned with but Good shall eventually win. It is not that they fight evil, but that they fight for the essence of moral good. Doing something good is quite satisfactory for them and indeed increases their happiness. It is when something is not reciprocated to them that they are saddened and disappointed by others. They learn that others aren’t as self-sacrificing. The Queen's Knight is dominated by an inner world of intense feeling and deeply rooted ethics. They seek to form their life based on their views. They are highly curious of those around them so are readily accepting of others unless their values are being threatened. They promote insight and understanding amongst others and contribute well thought ideas. They however can be a bit too idealistic. 5. 12. Love the parody! And the darn twin guitar thingie is one of the worst earworms I've had in some time - can't get it out of my mind once it gets started. :003:
  13. The local sandwich shop has a new offering: "The Tom Pesty." Fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil pesto on grilled flatbread.
  14. Here's a review.... http://theoaklandpress.com/articles/2010/07/23/entertainment/doc4c49197319fbb362474671.txt
  15. Yes indeed, it was a great time! No surprises in the set list, though we did get You Wreck Me instead of Honey Bee or Driving Down to Georgia. I was delighted with "wreck." Mike was in good spirits and high energy. A woman in the front row had a small sign that read, "Mike, we love you, drink water please" - or something like that. It made him smile! And he was grinning all night long. Band intros included Tom telling us that Mike was, "off the disabled list." And dear god, did I have a good seat - 3rd row, almost smack in the middle with Tom right in front of me. Fabulous views of both Tom & Mike. Ladies, it was a good night for "jeans" & "buns" views, too. LOL! Great show, must get some sleep now....here are some pix, a little blurry, but I was dancing & singing along more.
  16. Happy to report that the hotel I'm at has reserved the entire top floor for TPATH concert goers. Love it! And they're running multiple shuttles over the venue - no walking there or back!
  17. Yea, I've got the feeling that if he's fully recovered, he's gonna tear up Detroit. So glad I get to see it happen! I keep thinking of a goofy sign to take...something like "Hey Gator, Drink Gatorade!" LOL...
  18. Nope, I'm not surprised. I think the trend is going to continue, too.
  19. Heat exhaustion is nothing to mess with. I hope Mike is feeling better (and selfishly hoping is better by Thursday for the show in Detroit, too.)
  20. Nice find! Gotta say that, given the consistent set lists that have been reported, I'm confused by this statement by Robert Scovill, "You may have a set list and they may take a left turn & you won't see the set list for a few songs."
  21. Open the windows and turn on the fans until the humidity gets unbearable.
  22. 1. What LOCAL pizza joint or restaurant serves the best pizza? Pisanello's. I also loved Guido's before it closed many years ago.
