I couldn't do the VIP tix either but got good seats for Cinci and Tampa.  Got sec 1 row C for Cinci and got on the first tier side sec 129 row B for Tampa.  I almost got sec 1 row 1 a couple times with the interactive map for Cinci but each time I clicked buy tickets it said someone beat me to them...bummer, but still I'm happy!

yeah, it was kind of strange, I had 2 browsers open to buy. 1 was hcc and the 2nd ticketmaster and I was signed into both. When tix came up I had to enter name, credit card, address and security questions and more!! All that stuff was entered long ago and I checked and made sure yesterday. But I had to do it all again in 5 minutes or lose the tix! I have no idea how I typed in all that stuff in 5 minutes with 2 fingers, but it worked. I bought 4 tix, so I'll sit back now and wait for more dates to be added before I use the last 4 tix from HCC. I'll probably use the last 4 as 1 ticket buys with the special package and go to those show across the country alone, as I usually do. Hope to see all of you on the road.

That was so stressful! I'm honestly POed at these ticketing sites.
I can't tell you how many times I pulled (I was buying for two different shows in two different browsers).
I pulled the exact same tickets (section, row) EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
Never before have I experienced such crap... LOL. Seriously!
Then, when I went into the "select your seats" type of purchasing option, that didn't even work properly.
    Goodness, that was friggin' stressful!
I ended up with some decent tickets to Cincy (the 119 level - highest 'non package' tickets).
And some just "okay" ones for Indy. I would have bought the more expensive ones, but they had to do Will Call and my credit limit isn't big enough for me to take my CC and my ID and my face... lol
So I bought the tickets to the Cincy show with my guest's card and then used my card for the Indy show with mine (he isn't going) and had to opt for the cheaper ones because my credit limit... Haha. Confusing, I know.
Oh well... at the end of the day, who cares. I saw TPAH from 1st and 6th in the past and it was amazing.
Now I get to see them twice in one tour!

I got 4 tickets to Cleveland. I went for the $150 seats and got section 2 (front center section on the floor) row K (11th row). I'm happy with that. It's not front row, but it's also not $450 a seat. Good luck my friends!

Looks like we'll be coming to Ohio! We will probably do Columbus and Cincinnati.  I still want to go to Tampa also.

I thought I'd mention a few things to do in advance of ticket buying day. If you can think of more, please list them.
#1 - Make sure you have the correct sign in name and password to HCC, Ticketmaster and Live Nation before ticket buying day.
#2 - Go to a seating chart site and print out an end stage seating chart of your venue so you won't waste time trying to know where your seats are when they come up.
#3 - If you are traveling, check airline tickets now, you may get a cheaper rate today than next year.
#4 - Also check hotel rates now, they may be more later or sold out. Hotels usually charge by the season and you'll have to pay a higher rate for the summer even though you buy them now, but you'll have a better chance now than later to get a room.
#5 - If you are buying the expensive "Special Package Tickets" you'll most likely get in the 1st couple rows if you only buy 1 ticket, like I do when traveling. There always seems to be 1 ticket in the front row.
#6 - If you need more than 1 ticket, be prepared to act fast and accept what is offered. Those seats may never come up again.
Good luck my friends on your ticket buying. I hope to see you at one of the shows.

We're not doing Christmas this year, actually, we decided a few years ago to stop buying gifts since there are no children in neither mine nor Mike's families so instead our families got together and celebrated with a huge meal. This year, with both my parents no longer here and Mike's brother and sister-in-law living in Arizona, the family has dwindled to a few. I didn't even decorate this year since no one is planning to come over. I'm really not a Scrooge but it sure did take away the stress of the holidays to not get caught up in it! We will go to my cousin's house tomorrow to celebrate with my dad's family. I told my kids it was up to them to repopulate our family. I got mixed reactions on that!

The Raleigh Concert was great, and I was lucky enough to see Donna Lamb and Robbie Keaton again.  We got to talk for a few minutes, and then I wanted to share a picture from where we all went to California to see the two Santa Barbara Concerts 13 years ago.  It was probably the most fun and exciting trip I have ever had the opportunity to be a part of. In the Santa Barbara picture is Diane Czybora Abesse, Marion Stolmeier, Donna, Robbie, and myself (Deborah Thomas).

Sorry I haven't been around much but life is crazy full these days and I have very little spare time.

I just wanted to stop by and say that the Tampa show had to be one of the best shows I ever saw and I wasn't even on the floor in the front row or even in the first few rows.  I was about 10 rows up on Mikes side.  I had a wonderful view.  I think the venue was near capacity at 21,500 and the show had out of this world high energy. The singing from the audience as incredible and I don't think most people sat down all night. It was an amazing feeling and I don't think I have felt that much energy since the Vic shows in Chicago. What a great feeling for the band too.  I know they were blown away.  When they took their bows at the end of the night everyone left the stage except for Tom who stood there a few extra seconds by himself.  It was clear he did not want it to be over and I think if he could have he would have played a few more songs, he was that high on a cloud.  It must thrill them to no end to still be able to fill up a huge venue and get that much love back out of a crowd at this point in their career.  Every song they did was perfect.  The sound was perfect. I think the set list was perfect with a mix of old and new songs.  We got Woman In Love!!  I was very happy with the choices except they didn't play Fault Lines and that would have just been the cherry on top!

For the first time I did not take one picture during the show and I never even took my camera out.  I just took it all in and what a pleasure it was!!

Mike Campbell - that man couldn't get any hotter.  He blows me away with talent and just thrills me to the core.  I love his look too!  He is badass cool with his wicked dreads. They are getting long!  Love it!!

Thinking on it, maybe one thing that kept the crowd in good control was the beers were $15 a piece!!  There was not so much running back and forth to get more beer and then running to the bathroom.  Everyone stayed in their place.

Now I wish I had another show to go to!!  hahaha!  I thought I only needed one on this tour but now I'm longing for more!

For those of you who still have shows to look forward to, ENJOY!!!
