Sorry, I am NOT a fan!

They use their celebrity to yap about everything else...so why not? I can assure you---no celebrity would ever influence MY vote after I had made up my mind!

I think this must be the first time Ringo has ever gotten himself in trouble! Hahahahahaha!

I just got 5 emails in a row from Ticketmaster giving me a link to download a free mp3 of Scare Easy. LOL! Anyone need it?I just might! The right-click option didn't work for me...nothing opened. I think I will probably get another email from them because I purchased tickets multiple times, too.
Geeeez, why can't it EVER be easy?

It was a reader's poll on RollingStone.com And thanks for Italian day...in your honor I had some tiramisu!

I was trying to say Charlotte is a town of a lot of very rich people. There weren't as many tickets bought by scalpers, but the tickets they did get are going for a higher rate than in Atlanta.
And yes, the system is working for us pretty well. Back for the '06 tour I wasn't in the fan club and I ended up with seats almost back to the lawn. This time I didn't order dream packages but I still got seats in the 13th row in Atlanta and 5th row in Charlotte. And my past experience tells me that never would have happened without my HCC membership!

TOM PETTY's FREE FALLIN' has topped a new St. Patrick's Day (17Mar08) poll of top drinking songs. The track beat Guns N' Roses' Paradise City and Piano Man by Billy Joel in a RollingStone.com readers vote. Also making it into the top five boozy tunes are Sweet Home Alabama by Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Beastie Boys' Fight For Your Right.

MILLS LOSES APPEAL IN MCCARTNEY DIVORCE
LONDON -- Attorneys for the former Beatle had no objections to the document being made public.Heather Mills has lost her appeal to a British court to keep private the full legal ruling on her divorce from Paul McCartney. In those documents released Tuesday, the judge deciding the settlement describes her as a less-than-candid court witness. The former model had argued that it contains details of her daughter's life that could compromise her security if released. Mills was awarded a $48.6 million settlement Monday. She had been asking for almost $250 million. The judge said in the ruling that the amount she wanted was exorbitant. He also wrote that Mills' evidence was inconsistent and inaccurate, and that she was a less-than-impressive witness. Mills was married to McCartney for four years. They have a daughter, Beatrice.
Good! I can't wait to read all about it!

^ Oh, no they weren't selling for normal price. The $125 seats down front were selling for $840-$1200! Lawn tickets were selling for $80-$100. And there is far more scalping going on in Atlanta than in Charlotte, because I checked Charlotte tickets, too. My best seats are in Charlotte-- 5th row, those are selling for $1600 now. (Charlotte is a money town, lots of banking and most NASCAR drivers live around there)

While enjoying myself at YouTube I noticed some ads for Tom Petty tickets. I figured these were from ticket brokers---or as we call them--- scalpers! So I decided to take a look.
What really got my attention were the tickets that were selling with the caveat "Will call only...pick up day of show" Those had to be fan club tickets, right?
It just really gripes me! Obviously being given the chance to join the fan club seconds before ticket purchase screws the hell out of any plans TPatH had for keeping scalpers out.
Sorry, it just really chaps my butt!

Yeah, it freaked her out alright! I wondered how you were faring out on the AL/GA line...seems that's the fast track for storms around here.

I am so looking forward to this, I might even be more excited at seeing Steve Winwood than I am about seeing TPATH LOLPoor Tom - imagine him reading this - he'd be like "WTF Dana" LOLIf Tom does read it: I'm really excited about seeing YOU! :045: Its does sound like a great line-up. I've never seen Steve Winwood before.

I've been watching the news a lot to see the damage in Georgia. It is absolutely amazing that no one was killed in Atlanta's EF 2 tornado. In west Georgia two people were killed in an EF 3 tornado there. Some of my storm pix were shown on air on CBS 46 here along with shots our daughter took moments after the storm.

Mills' Divorce Costs McCartney $48.6M
Estranged Wife Of McCartney 'Happy' With Ruling
POSTED: 7:08 am PDT March 17, 2008LONDON -- Heather Mills is getting nearly $50 million in the financial settlement of her divorce from Paul McCartney.A document released by the Family Court in London on Monday said that a judge awarded Mills a lump sum of $33 million plus assets she currently holds worth $15.6 millionMills said that she is "very happy" with the settlement. Both Mills and McCartney were in court for the closed-door hearing. Some media reports suggested that the former Beatle had offered Mills about $50 million of his $1.6 billion fortune and that she was seeking at least double that amount.Divorce specialist Patricia Hollings estimated before the hearing that Mills could get as much as $100 million and the judge might give her more in exchange for keeping quiet about the marriage and divorce. The settlement came two years after the couple separated, following four years of marriage.
