    I hate having an abcessed tooth AND infected salivary glands!!! In fact I probably won't be on the Farm much because I all feel like doing is sleeping with my beloved heating pad against my jaw! And I have to wait a week to get rid of the infection before the tooth can be pulled. My head looks like a freakin' pumpkin! The biggest pisser is all the "good drugs" the dentist gave me ARE NOT helping that much, grrrr!

    Here's a big hug for all you other Farmers who are also feeling crappy! ((((FARMERS!))))

    Till you can see a dentist, try 800mg of Motrin/Advil every 6 hours to keep the inflamation down, I know it sounds like a lot, but it really helps. Also if you have some hydrogen peroxide, swish a little of that around the tooth that is bothering you. A little Orajel or something similar can help, too.

    I hope you can get in to see the dentist ASAP. Toothaches are NO fun.
