Greyhounds have very thin coats and don't shed much. But then I think EVERYONE should adopt a greyhound! (You'll never find a sweeter, more loving or devoted animal!)

Thanks for the heads up, Nurk! I watched both shows...great trip down memory lane. Davy Jones played our local amphitheater here a couple of years ago. He was amazing, almost vaudeville-esque. Very funny guy. Because I was shooting for the amphitheater back then I got to meet him after the show.
Simply a delightful fellow. It was so funny to see all the middle-aged women all a'swoon over him. I told him I had been waiting almost 40 years to meet him...he replied he had been waiting 40 years to meet ME! What a silver-tongued little devil.

I love that Poot called me up from the New Kids on the Block concert tonight so I could hear "Hanging Tough." (We took her to about four NKotB shows back in the 80's....nice memories.) Good youngun!

These are really good. I too, when I first read it, thought about the song "inner light" which someone had sent some words to George to see if he could set the words to music. Further searching found that George's inspiration and the above quote are from the same book !! 1,000's of years ago !!That is SO cool!

When Poot was still living at home we went all out decorating and costuming. Now there are very few kids in the neighborhood and we haven't had any trick-or-treaters in years. But last week Poot and I tried to carve a pumpkin for her apt. and the thing was so tough I think she finally gave up on it!
