OK I have had a chance to listen to the first album and OMG!!! MYSTERY MAN is such a freakin good song! And it sounds like it could have been on Highway Companion or the Mudcrutch album. Such a mature sound for a first album. Lord, am I impressed!

I'm pretty tight with my money but a good pair of shoes is worth it. By good I mean well made....not designer. Poot just copped an $800 pair of designer stilettoes for $200...she said she had never worn such an uncomfortable pair of shoes!!!

WOW! There were still several of the early TPatH albums I didn't yet own and a couple of dvds, too. This Christmas I got the first album, Long After Dark, Hard Promises and Great Wide Open! Hubby had tried to order a Pack Up the Plantation dvd but they said its only a cd, is that right? Also I have another gift that hasn't arrived yet, I bet its a Petty gift, too. WHOOOOOOPIE!!! I got lucky. Did you?

Yes, security was really gestapo in Atlanta at the new Verizon amphitheater...but I guess that's good because Atlanta crowds can get really drunken and rowdy. At the Verizon amphitheater in Charlotte the venue was simply miserable...100 degrees, it had been raining. And did I mention the place is built in a swamp?

Tom definately wore the fringed jacket in Atlanta Sept. 22.....but I was so far back I didn't even bring a camera.

Its pushing 1 am on Christmas morning and we have had hard rain (thanks, Lord! We need it!) and THUNDER AND LIGHTNING tonight. It was 69 degrees. We had the air conditioning on while we were straightening up the parlor for visitors this afternoon. Welcome to Christmas in Atlanta! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

None of them...and I don't think I want to see any of them. Movies suck nowadays unless its Harry Potter or Pirates. And NONE of the remakes are any good.
