    Comic genius Emo Philips will be appearing in Atlanta Valentine's week when the Laughing Skull Comedy Club opens in the Midtown VORTEX on Peachtree Street. The new club is very intimate, seating just 80 people. Emo will be doing two shows a night beginning Thursday Feb.12 thru Sunday Feb. 15. Contact me for more info!

    Excepting that I was one of the unfortunates who got salmonella poisoning from peanut butter crackers 2009 has been good so far! So you live in Gainesville? My paternal Grandmother was born there. I thought it would be cool to have a "friend" here with me in GA! Oh, and I love Popeye, too and my Daddy was a sailor man who flew planes!

    New Year's Eve 1981 I had a dreadful case of the Hong Kong flu. CurmudgeonDoug and Poot went to stay with my mother-in-law because they weren't sick, and I slept through all the New Year's Eve festivities. That's the only time.
