This is a really good interview. I enjoyed listening to it on the way to work this morning. I get listen to the other half on the drive home! I forgot how much I loved listening to Rockline.

I don't drink much soda either but every once in a while when I'm sleepy in the afternoon I will drink a Diet Mountain Dew or a Dr. Pepper. Oh, and I love the orange soda Pete makes in his soda machine. Those soda machines are pretty cool!

I was able to pick up this interview tonight. I haven't listened to it all yet but what I heard is pretty cool. I will listen in the car tomorrow. Benmont on Rockline! It's the big time, baby! Something Good Coming is a wonderful song of hope. I also like "I Will Take Care of You" by the Bangles.

I like his voice. He reminds me of JJ Cale. The tunes are very nice and I like the way Ben writes. His lyrics are great and funny sometimes.

They refunded my charges and I just opted to keep the membership I signed up for. I hope I don't regret it later. I was thinking there could be a better incentive other than the glasses but then again the membership fee could go up when they roll out the new package. Whatever it is you know it won't be easy! It never is! I do have to say that they did respond to my problem very quickly and I was impressed by that. Good luck everyone!

You know the thing is, I really want to support the band and part of the fan club so I can get things like the Super Highway and Mike Campbell guitar interviews they offered exclusively are few years ago but they sure make things hard on a fan from ticket buying to merchandise to club membership! They just make things so hard! I really do get why my friends think I'm crazy for joining for nothing but I really do keep hoping it will be good.

Well, I'm a dumbass baby! Right On!!! I received an email from the Highway Companion club telling me my membership was about to expire so I went right over to renew - why I don't know. I'm not sure there is a benefit but I always do just in case. Anyway, as tradition with our fan club I had trouble and the renewal wouldn't go through. At least I thought it didn't because I never received a confirmation but guess what? I now have 3 charges for the club membership on my credit card for $54 each!! Now Tompetty.com states in the news section that they have extended the membership for existing members until some future date so I didn't even have to renew yet! Why the hell can't this club get their act together? Now I have the hassle of trying to get a refund. When will I learn? Probably never! Now I just find it incredibly funny at how dumb I am. If you tried to renew too you may want to check your credit card charges. I saw one person at the officials tried fifty times! They are going to be in for a shock if they were charged that many times!

Uh huh, okay. I still believe I'm right. I've been around a long time too. Maybe someday I will get my wish.

That is not what I meant. I don't mean Tom should support Mike by going to his concerts. I mean he should encourage Mike to put out his own CD. He should be proud of Mike and encourage him to release his music, that's all. Tom played 2 of Benmont's songs on his radio show and said really nice things promoting Benmont. I just think he should be supportive of Mike and his little bar band. I know I'm being selfish because as a fan I want a real CD from the Knobs but I think it's Tom who is holding Mike back from doing that.

Congratulations, Rick! I can't remember, is this your first grandchild?

:064: Poking a stick at Tom Petty here.... How come Tom doesn't give Mike the same support for his Dirty Knobs? The Dirty Knobs have some incredible songs and more than enough for an album. Just saying!

It's one big track, Nurk and it's iTunes so they really limit you one what you can do with it.

I don't think you can burn this one to a cd because it's 93 minutes long and cds only hold 80 minutes. You could put it on an ipod though.

Wow, thanks Julie! I just downloaded it and will play it tomorrow on my way into work. It sounds like a fun interview too! Susan, there is hope you will have it before Saturday! I just checked mine and it's in Orlando now. That's only 2 hours away from me. Let's see how long it takes to get here.
