  1. Ryan, there is definitely still heart and soul here. If it's not a financial burden for you I say let's just keep on keepin on. Maybe the Buried Treasure show will start soon. That always makes people happy!
  2. You guys have never eaten at Olive Garden? I know it's a chain but it's one of my favorites. I don't let myself go there very often but every once in a while I splurge and it's always good. I have never, ever had a bad meal there. You should go try those wings, Nurk!

    Still Alive!

Congratulations to Fred on his retirement, Beth. I hope he is doing well.
  4. Everything has slowed down. I think you are right, most of us are communicating personally on FB now. As far as the band goes, I still love them, they are still my favorite and always will be but I think I've just plain run out of things to say! Most of the old gang don't even stop in anymore. I myself only stop in every few days. We don't travel as much for shows anymore, mostly because you see one show, you've seen them all and airfares are so high. I don't know, Ryan. What do we do? I love the Farm and hate the thought of it going away because of our history but has it run it's course? Is it time to shut it down? Does it hurt to leave it as it is? Does it burden you financially? This does drive me crazy! haha! What to do?!!
  5. There was not much to this article but Tom won a lifetime achievement award on SiriusXM! It was the first one ever. 6. We had our annual bonfire party last night. It was nice.

  8. I miss the old days when the Knobs were just a little bar band playing by themselves in some little hole in the wall bar. Man that was a blast! I hope they will do some more shows and we will get to have that experience again someday.

    Daddy Cool

That is very cool! Tom introduced me to Daddy Cool on his Buried Treasure show. They are a great band! How cool that you got to see them!
  14. Thank you for the birthday wishes! I had a very happy day!
  15. That sounds nice, Nurk. Tell your brother I said hello. Hugs to you all.
  16. I don't think Tom ever played this one on his show but it is definitely buried treasure! Thanks Lillian!

    RIP Mom

Nurk, I'm so sorry. I know how close your are to your Mom. I hope she went peacefully. May she rest in peace.
  19. That was such a fun trip, Deb! Thanks for sharing the picture. That was our very first road trip ever to see this band! I'm glad you could all get together again!
  20. I liked Marty's rendition so much that I made an MP3 for my iPod so I thought I would share. Here is the link. http://www.mudcrutch.com/marion/MartyStuart_RunningDownADream.mp3 I think it's fabulous!
  21. This is one of the coolest renditions of Running Down A Dream I have ever seen. Marty Stuart plays Mike's lead on the mandolin and he burns it up! Impressive!
  22. I never have either and I have traveled a lot with LOTS of different people over the years. I have never seen any of them leave a tip or even bring it up. I know the maids must not make a lot of money but to me if I'm paying $100+ a night for a room, that is what am I paying for. If not, what am I paying for? So, if you do leave a tip, how much would you leave? 15 % of $100 would be $15 a night. Would you leave that much on top of you room rate? Just curious.
