  1. Here are some funny birds at the Lowery Park Zoo. This one looks like a cross between a buzzard and a peacock, poor thing!

They tell us flamingos get their color from what they eat. Mostly shrimp. These guys are kind of on the orange side.

The Lowery Park Zoo is such a cool place because it gives the animals a home that is like their natural habitat.

  2. That's an interesting tidbit, Ref. I didn't know that.

Another great show this week. I love Merry-Go-Round!

I liked hearing the Everly Brother's Stick With Me Baby. Robert Plant and Allison Krauss covered that one on their album and did a fine job too.

Tom's funny this week was introducing the song, Odorono as a song about deodorant. hahaha!.

    Thanks Tom!

I hope he does another Christmas show this week. His last one was brilliant!

  3. Robert Plant, Alison Krauss Announce Tour

Duo Will Start Gigs In Europe

    UPDATED: 6:05 am PST December 14, 2007

Fresh off the success of a reunion gig with Led Zeppelin, Robert Plant has announced he's going on tour again.

But fans of the classic rock group will have to wait -- Plant is going to tour with bluegrass singer Alison Krauss.

Plant and Krauss announced the European leg of their tour Thursday in support of their album "Raising Sand," which was released in October.

The European tour starts May 5 in Birmingham, England.

Plant and Krauss also plan to tour the U.S., although they have not yet announced dates.

Plant, guitarist Jimmy Page and bassist John Paul Jones reunited Led Zeppelin Monday for their first full concert in 17 years. On drums was Jason Bonham, the son of late Led Zeppelin drummer, John Bonham.

Page has expressed a willingness to play more concerts, but Plant has downplayed any further reunion plans.

The concert Monday was a benefit for the education fund of late Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun, which provides college scholarships in the U.S., Britain and Turkey.

  4. I am listening to this show this morning. I think it's one of Tom's best of the season!

Lightnin' Hopkins is not Business You're Doin' is not new to me but I just love his little intro into the song.

Iko Iko was cool! Where else but the BT show would you hear a song like that? It was cool to hear that version of Born in Chicago after hearing the Heartbreakers do it.

Wow, so many great, great songs I've never heard before. I am loving it! Thanks Tom!
