I love Lindsay! Happy birthday!

I'm from Indiana - I talk to everyone. It was a bit of a culture shock to move to the northeast, where people are much less likely to make eye contact with strangers.

Sharon, I'm so jealous, I would LOVE to read in the car but it makes me nauseous. I listen to music, and if I'm alone, I sing along.

1. Where do you usually celebrate Thanksgiving? Do you host or visit someone else? Usually my mother-in-law hosts, but for the last few years we've been celebrating in Indiana with my family, and my sister-in-law and brother host the dinner. 2. How formal or informal is your celebration? Do you dress for dinner? we are very informal 3. What time do you eat? Do you go more for a brunch/lunch or a dinnertime celebration? I'll eat whenever they want to feed me, ha, but it's generally a late lunch/early dinner. 4. What traditions do you observe? big meal, football game after 5. What are you doing for the Friday after the holiday this year? hanging out with my mom, who is recovering from surgery 6. Take this quiz - What Does Your Thanksgiving Meal Say About You? When it comes to the holidays, you do things your own way ... and love it. You do whatever feels right to you. You see the holidays as a time to think about what's important to you. It's a good time to reflect and regroup. You like the more adult aspects of the holidays - parties, cocktails, and having time off from work. During the holidays, you are likely to feel generous. At your worst, you feel exhausted. You consider yourself a real red blooded American, and you're proud of it. You tend to spend your holidays doing everything and anything. You really get into the holiday spirit.

What were you wearing? jeans and a green shirt 4. What did you eat for dinner? I didn't eat dinner, it just occurred to me that I forgot to eat! 5. Can anyone verify your whereabouts from midnight to 5 AM? Mom was awake, I hope she knows I was here.

As much as I would like to see smoking banned completely, I realize that isn't entirely fair - so I said some of them. I think outdoor areas where people are crammed together, like amusement parks, should have designated smoking areas.
-
Not really - some people call me Nan, and a few call me Mom but that's it. I had a few when I was younger.

Happy Birthday, Emmie!!

I wouldn't want my home remodeled, there's no need - although if they want to send in an interior decorator, I might go for that, I'm pretty clueless. What I really need is the "Queer Eye" guys to go through my closet.

I want good news... actually, I NEED good news... for someone else. Is that too much to ask?
-
Thank God for my friends.
-
Plums/prunes would not be missed... I can't think of a bad vegetable off the top of my head.

All of the above! In fact, I'm not even sure there's a course... lol.

1. What foods do you associate with this time of year? apples, pumpkins, squash 2. Which of them are your favorites? Your least favorites? love them all 3. What traditional (or nontraditional) holiday foods do you make or buy every year? pumpkin and apple pie, pumpkin muffins, pumpkin roll... noticing a theme here? 4. Are you more likely to overindulge or abstain from seasonal treats? I try to do neither, I don't want to overindulge, but I won't deprive myself. 5. With all of the high-calorie temptations at this time of year, how do you manage your diet? I'll eat whatever I'm tempted to eat, but in small amounts. 6. Take this quiz - What Season Do You Feel Like? You Feel Like Autumn You have reached a point in your life where you feel successful and accomplished. You have a full, bountiful life. And you're ready to sit back and enjoy it. While you feel like you finally have enough in your life, you make find that you also have things you no longer need. This is a time for you to reassess who you are, what you need, and where you want to go next in your life.

1. At the end of today, do you think you'll feel spent or refreshed? Today I anticipate feeling spent, but it's going to be a crazy day. Generally I'm pretty relaxed at the end of the day. 2. Do you like back rubs? YES! And I thank God for people who are willing to pay for them, they keep me in business. 3. When did you last return merchandise to the store for a refund or replacement? I just returned a pair of boots that were the wrong size - right box, wrong boots, a little aggravating! 4. What color are your eyes? green 5. Friday fill-in: Lastly, let me know more than an hour in advance if you need to reschedule your massage, people!
