Oh how sweet! Patty, we've been out digging paths, too. There's a foot of snow on the ground and it's over my smallest dog's head.
-
I wear hats when it's cold, and I have a big floppy brimmed hat and a few baseball caps for walking in the sun.
-
Yes, technology has certainly advanced since my Frogger-playing days, lol.
-
Back in the day I was a big Genesis fan.

1. What's the last thing you threw away? wrapping paper scraps
2. What's the last movie you saw? Rifftrax Christmas Shorts-Stravaganza, it was hilarious (and live, but in a movie theater, so it counts)
3. What is the worst name someone has called you? LOL not telling!
4. What brand of cell phone do you have? iPhone
5. Friday fill-in: I could learn to like living in California - just give me a chance!

Sharon, please come back here and tell us all about it! I had tickets for the show here the Sunday after Thanksgiving, but Mom's poorly timed surgery (lol) meant I was still in Indiana. Next year!
-
Great pics, Relic. Wish this was scheduled for January so I could go!
-
Oh geez - tough one! I'll go with either "You Won't Succeed on Broadway" or "His Name is Lancelot" from Spamalot (I like musicals that make me laugh!)
-
I read constantly as a child, and I still do. I was a big Nancy Drew addict as a kid, lol.
-
Relic, there were a number of us present for the mooning incident - there were not many people watching him perform and he looked frustrated. Saw him again later in the tour, and he totally redeemed himself in my eyes. His performances were stellar. (insert the story of Brian Setzer giving my little girl a guitar pick here)
I love seeing him as a headliner, he's so much fun!

I love watching Barb's friend Jenny on Jeopardy

-
I haven't seen any of them, LOL, but I am planning to catch Up in the Air this weekend, so I chose that one.
-
Love you Ames!! Have a wonderful birthday!
-
We spend it with family, and the location varies from year to year. This year it's at my house.
-
Wow, I hope he's ok. His Christmas show is incredible - if you have an opportunity to see him, do it!!
-
Love the pics and stories - thanks for sharing, everyone!

1. Do you commute to work or another place (gym, playgroup, school, etc) on a regular basis? Do you drive, walk, take public transportation, or car pool? I work from home, but drive to see my clients.
2. How far is your commute and how long does it usually take you to get there? n/a
3. What kind of traffic do you usually deal with during your commute? I rarely deal with much traffic at all, my appointments are not during rush hour.
4. Do you prefer commuting shorter distances at slower speeds, longer distances at higher speeds, or some mix of the two? I'd rather drive further at a faster speed. When we lived in Florida, I loved commuting an hour into Tampa and flying across the Courtney Campbell Causeway during the summer - it was hell during snowbird season, though!

5. What is your commuting nightmare or worry? I hate it when traffic comes to a complete and I don't know the reason.
6. Take this quiz - The Road Trip Test
You Take the Road No One Travels
You see romantic love as what's most important in life. A deep connection with someone else is the primary thing you crave.
You live a life of leisure. You take your time in every aspect of life and enjoy it to the fullest.
You are all about risk and randomness in your life. You travel off the beaten path... in fact, you're often the one carving the way!
You are able to find a fairly healthy balance between work and play. You work when you need to, but you never let yourself burn out.
You could have owned an indie bookstore or boutique in another life.

1. What is your current weather ? Sunny and very cold this morning.
2. Where are you going today ? Going to the car wash, I drove 700 miles yesterday and my car is filthy.
3. Are you good with directions ? Sometimes, but I have a GPS for a reason - I'm easily confused.
4. Do you know all your neighbor's names ? immediate neighbors, yes
5. What do you smell right now ? my daughter's bagel burning - eeek.

It was the best part of school lunches!

My little dog has a sweater, because right after she's groomed and her hair is short, I imagine she gets cold on winter walks. It's embarrassing, but a lot of dogs around here wear them.
We bought a Penn State sweater for the beagle as a joke a few years ago, but she only wore it for a few humiliating pictures.

the pressure!

I don't think any more than a week after my surgery, mainly because I had follow up appointments and HAD to leave. Even snowstorms rarely keep me housebound for more than a couple of days. I need to get out!
-
I was in Tulum a couple of years ago, it was lovely.

1. What types of computer games do you like to play, if any ? Scrabble - I may be addicted. I have Bejeweled 2 on my iPhone, it's fun, but not as addicting.
2. How often do you play these games ? I play Scrabble almost every day. Bejeweled, just occasionally.
3. What is your absolute favorite game (computer or board game) ? Well, I love Scrabble, but I'm also fond of playing games like Apples to Apples, Monopoly, or card games with my whole family.
4. Do you have a Monopoly strategy ? nope!
5. Do you feel that board games are becoming obsolete with the rise in computer and video gaming ? I'm not sure how to gauge something like that, especially since my kids are growing up and playing any kinds of games together is becoming less frequent. I can't imagine a world without kids playing Candyland and Monopoly!
6. Take this quiz - What Board Game Are You?
LOL I think I love whoever wrote this quiz.
You Are Scrabble
You are incredibly clever and witty. You can talk your way out of (and into) situations easily.
You are an excellent decision maker. You are good at weighing the options in front of you.
You're the type of person who can make something out of nothing. You are very resourceful.
You know a lot of things. Most importantly, you know when people are wrong - even when they won't admit it.
