I'm with Carol, that is a great ending.

In 1979 I worked on a dude ranch in the Black Hills. It was my first experience visiting a new place and feeling like I'd been there before. We'd ride up Harney Peak, drink from a stream, sit beneath a tree and enjoy the breathtaking view... I'm afraid to go back, because I know it isn't the same anymore (I'd sure as heck never drink from a stream these days, lol). But mentally I revisit it often.

Horrifying story at any time, but particularly scary (for me) while my sons are both away at college. This world gets crazier by the minute.

Sure, it has happened. I actually hated a few of the songs on Wildflowers when it first came out, but now I love the whole cd.

Springsteen tickets are comparable in price to Tom Petty this year - but his shows are longer and he mixes up his setlists. I don't believe he has started selling anything like "dream packages." To be front row for a Springsteen show this year, you buy a GA floor ticket and stand in line. McCartney and The Eagles are another story - and Bon Jovi! His dream packages are over $1000.

I never received my commemorative tickets, either. But I think Amy said she did.
