  1. I think we had surround sound, too. And, it was cranked up LOUD! I'm so glad that the S.D. audience was fantastic. They laughed and cried in all the right places and really seemed to be loving it. It was all I could do to sit still!! ^ Sharon, I hate people like that, too. Shut the fuck up or go HOME!!! Oh, one other comment on the crowd - every possible age seemed to be represented. There were a couple of school-age kids, teenagers, college kids, 30s,40s,50s, 60s, you name it. I loved that. And the majority, thought not all, lasted through the entire thing.
  2. Oh Christine. I'm sorry you couldn't see it on the big screen, but believe me, the DVD will be worth the wait!
  3. Yay, Sharon! So glad you all had a great time. How cool that you guys all got to see it together. I'm like you - I can't sleep either. The movie just keeps playing in my head! Oh, I loved all those cameos! Like Eddie Vedder, etc. I won't mention the others yet. But they sure added alot of fun to the film. Sharon I agree too, that I'm wanting to get out my old TPATH DVDs and blast them tomorrow. Some of the early ones that I have not heard in awhile. I have a new perspective on some of them now.
  4. I have several pairs of shoes that I've bought and never worn. I tend to keep wearing my old favorites. Not a HUGE purchase, but it adds up.
  5. Mine's a drawer here in my desk. Just off the top of the first drawer: "Terms of Service" for a cell phone I no longer have "Quick Start" guide for my digital camera (still have not figured it out) Expired pizza coupon Letter from the DMV "reminding" me to renew my registration Fall Sale catalog from REI Old pair of sunglasses A CD that Marion sent me that I've been looking EVERYWHERE for! (Yay!) I think I need to clean out this drawer!! :icon_surprised:
  6. Ha Ha! Count me in! Taking the day to savor the DVD sounds like a plan!
  7. ^ Relic, I know what you mean. During those big concert shots, I just wanted to get up and sing and dance along with the music. I'm ready for a tour. What a treat for you to see Steve Ferrone and Peter Bogdanovich! One thing I loved was how there's so much great footage of ALL the guys. And Tom really does do a great interview. I just love his sense of humor! Also, it is evident how much the guys all loved Howie. You know what else? I kept thinking how much our Anna would have just loved this movie. I thought about her many times during the film.
  8. I know! I'm so ready to talk about it! Thanks for your thoughts, Kelly. Tonight's show was fantastic. The theater was full (I don't know about sold out) and the crowd was great. Everyone seemed to love the show! Myself, I could have happily sat there watching another 4 hours. Can't wait till everyone's seen it!
  9. OMG!! I loved, loved, LOVED that movie!! It was everything and more than I expected. The audience was great, too, and the theater was full. Oh, and did I mention I love our band? I'm just so proud to be a fan of these great guys. They're a true class act. What a treat to see it on the big screen. The DVD will be incredible, too. Can't wait till tomorrow! (Oh, I guess it already is tomorrow! lol)
  10. My dad writes the funniest limericks, ( he even won a contest at our local bookstore once, lol) so I'll choose those.
  11. My job doesn't include travel, but I wish it did!
  12. ^ Ohhh, I could handle him alright!!! :045: :007:

  16. ^ Ha Ha, those are great, Boss!
  17. Wow Sharon & Carol, what a blast you guys had! That sounds like the most fun show. I love both Bryan and George. I have been to that Ironstone winery and it would be a perfect place for a concert. I wanna go with you guys next time! Thanks so much for sharing!
  18. Ohhh, I'm SO ready for a Knobs gig! It is on my calendar and wild horses could not keep me away. YAY!! Carol, you gotta switch weekends with someone!!??
  19. I like Stevie, too. No, I would not have wanted to see her in the Heartbreakers, though. She was just right in FM. Like Ames said, I think she was complimenting TPATH, not necessarily saying she thought she'd ever have been asked to join the band!
  20. These are great! I got a couple of perfect ones, too: Every time a bell rings, an angel gets his Ron Blair (It's a Wonderful Life) I have always depended on the kindness of Ron Blair! (A Streetcar Named Desire)
  21. Kira, do you have Sephora in Texas? I would think the store would be in all major malls. They have EVERY make-up known to man in that place. I've seen all kinds of glittery stuff in there. Or, you could look online at sephora.com. (No, I don't own stock, LOL, but I wish I did. It's my favorite store.)
