Mudcrutch Farm Food Network/Favorite Recipes

^ Yummm! I feel like cooking now! Here's a recipe for "Melt-in-your-Mouth Apple Slices" that I found yesterday in, of all things, People magazine. I'm gonna try it! 1. Wash, peel & core 2 lbs. of Golden Delicious apples. Slice into quarters. 2. Place in large mixing bowl and cover with 3 T. sugar and 2 t. "vanilla-infused sugar". (<----not sure what that is - anyone know?) 3. Over low heat, melt 2 T. butter in large saute pan, until slightly browned. 4. Toss apples in butter, taking care not to caramelize the sugar. 5. Add 8 1/2 T. apple liqueur and set alight. (how fun! lol) Once the flames have burned out, remove apples and cool on wire rack. 6. Then, place them on a cookie sheet and bake at 250 F for about 20 minutes. Serve warm. -
I know, Those Fruit of the Looms! LMAO! Also, that "wet T-shirt contest". I wanna be that. LOL Those babies are adorable, too.

^ I do too, Teresa. For some reason the time change just says "fall" to me. Makes me want to bake and make soup. LOL Maybe because here we don't have much else to tell us the season is changing.

Great idea for a thread, wildgator! Most of my recipes I just know from memory, I've been doing them so long. I'll get some recipes from my daughter. She's an actual good cook. LOL Thanks for these, Farmers. They look yummy! And with the holidays coming, I'll need some good ideas! -

I did see most of the MLB ALCS game 7. That's all. It's been news, news and more (bad) news around here. Finally the television is OFF and it's going to stay that way for awhile!

1. What makes you feel exposed? Crying in public. 2. What do you have to force yourself to do? It's more what I have to force myself not to do. Make a certain phone call. And so far I've been successful! 3. Where do you like to spend your time outdoors? My very favorite place to be is in the mountains - especially by a lake. 4. What surprises you? When there's money in the bank at the end of the month! 5. Friday fill-in: Late at night I'm horny. Ha Ha. Well, you asked.

Shit, Nancy and Carol, you took mine!! Okay, I'll settle for Jack White. Or Keith Urban. I have two hands, I'll take one on each side. :045::110: ^ LMAOOO @ Ames!
