  1. ^ The garden's looking a little punk, I'm afraid Benny. Everything died during

a heatwave this summer. Then, my roommate decided he'd use the patio

as storage. Well, it's his house, so I guess he can. LOL

I'm hoping to get it spruced up a little before my "guests" arrive in

    November!

  2. Yay, Teresa! Sounds like a blast! I've been wondering if Eddie keeps

his shirt on. Thankfully, no. LOL!

Great set-list!! All my faves. I'm still holding out hope that even tho

it's sold out here, I might be able to score some tickets.

Thank you so much for reporting back to us fans. I know it was

    hard to do. LOL

  3. ^ Oh my GOD, Sharon! How horrible!!

I vote "middle school". Also, I require (LOL) trick-or-treaters to be in costume -

    no costume, no candy.

I had to hand it to a kid a few years back, though. The day after Halloween,

around dinnertime, there was a knock at the door and a boy, around 13 or so

so, was at the door asking if I had any leftover candy I wanted to get rid of!

Well, I did and gave it to him. Hey, never hurts to ask, right? LOL

  4. ^ Yummm! I feel like cooking now!

Here's a recipe for "Melt-in-your-Mouth Apple Slices" that I found yesterday in, of all

things, People magazine. I'm gonna try it!

    1. Wash, peel & core 2 lbs. of Golden Delicious apples. Slice into quarters.

    2. Place in large mixing bowl and cover with 3 T. sugar and 2 t.

"vanilla-infused sugar". (<----not sure what that is - anyone know?)

    3. Over low heat, melt 2 T. butter in large saute pan, until slightly browned.

    4. Toss apples in butter, taking care not to caramelize the sugar.

    5. Add 8 1/2 T. apple liqueur and set alight. (how fun! lol) Once the flames have burned out, remove apples and cool on wire rack.

    6. Then, place them on a cookie sheet and bake at 250 F for about 20 minutes. Serve warm.
