1. One place you volunteer (or would like to)? They have a program here at Children's Hospital where you can go and rock the crack babies. There's a special dark, quiet room with donated rocking chairs. I always wanted to do that, but for some reason have not. 2. One book you'd like to see made into a movie? The Secret Life of Bees. If it was done right, it could be very powerful. I loved that book. 3. One creature (living, extinct, or mythical) you'd like for a pet? I'm with Beth, a horse. (LMAO @ Sharon's "cute little" dragon!) 4. One place on Earth you'd like to visit? Rome, Italy 5. One talent or skill you'd like to develop? I'd love to be able to play the piano.

If I'm comfortable enough with them to be in their home, I'd be comfortable enough to point out the tilted picture. I wouldn't just fix it, tho. With my luck it would fall off the wall and break or something. LOL

Oh dear, Marleen! Hey, I wonder if the postal service allows the mailing of things like that? Packaged goods? I could mail you the ingredients. I think Andrea works at the post office. I'll send her a PM and ask her! (you're on your own for that metric conversion, tho. LOL I'm clueless when it comes to that.)

I'll do about half online.

Mudcrutch Farm Food Network/Favorite Recipes
Magnolia replied to wildgator's topic in Creative Corner
Here's a recipe that my hair girl told me about. It's on Paula Deen's website. My friend made it for Thanksgiving and said it was incredible! I'm gonna give it a go for Christmas. Gooey Pumpkin Butter Cake Ingredients 1 package yellow cake mix 1 egg 8 tablespoons butter, melted Filling 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin 3 eggs 1 tesspoon vanilla 8 tablespoons butter, melted 1 (16 ounce) box powdered sugar 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 teaspoon nutmeg Directions Preheat oven to 350.F Combine the cake mix, 1 egg, 8 tablespoons butter and mix well with an electric mixer. Pat the mixture into the bottom of a lightly greased 13x9x2 inch baking pan. Filling In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and pumpkin until smooth add 3 eggs, vanilla, and 8 teaspoons butter, and beat together. Next, add the powdered sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and mixwell. Spread pumpkin mixture over cake batter and bake for 40 to 50 minutes. Make sure not to overbake as the center should be a little gooey. Serve with whipped topping. -
Oops! :icon_redface: On my way to the recipe thread right now! Let me know if you try it. I think I'll make it for Christmas. It looks SOOO good!

^ Marleen, I'll bet Toni can. She's the gourmet around here. The lady that does my hair did give me a recipe she saw on Food Network for a pumpkin butter cake that sounds too good to be true. She said she made it for Thanksgiving this year and everyone loved it. After work, I'll post it in the recipe thread. Yum!

Ames, I love Amy's brand. I often buy that brand of frozen dinners. They have it in my regular supermarket, in the "gourmet" section, which really means "expensive". LOL The food is well worth the extra money though!
