Kelly, thanks for telling us about your experience. I'm sorry the crowd was a downer. That definitely can have a huge effect on the show. Glad some of it was a good time. You're probably right about the festival - people buying up tickets for a bunch of bands, some of which they barely know. No shade would suck. Awesome that they refilled water bottles!

^ I know! My son had just said "Maybe they'll do Don't Come Around Here No More" next and I said "nah". Then, there were those first tell-tale chords. The crowd went nuts! I didn't even think about the fact that we didn't get "Stepping Stone". Now I'm bummed. Well, just a little. LOL

The show was magnificent!! My son and I and the whole place was just ROCKING! Man, they love this band here! Everyone singing along, lighters in the air, rocking out. It was my first time hearing Rebels live, too. That was a dream come true! I don't care what they say about the hits, when you hear those first chords of a favorite song, like MJLD, it's just magic. Still here in the midwest for another day. It's so pretty and green back here! Susan, I'm sorry we didn't get to visit this time, but there will be other times, for sure. Thanks TPATH for another wonderful night!

Hate to burst your bubble Aimee but I doubt that Tom would ever even get this message. From what I've heard over the years, meeting Tom is not an easy thing to do. He's somewhat reclusive. Plus, I don't know if addresses or phone numbers for East End Management can be trusted either. What you say about Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers is so true. They can bring you up even on the most down day! Just don't want you to be disappointed if you don't receive the response you would like.
