^ Sounds fabulous, Softanimal! My little vacation was earlier this summer to the midwest to visit my son and see TPATH in Minneapolis. It was GREAT!! In every way.

Ya know, I did a Trolley Tour of San Diego a few years ago when I lived there. A friend had come to visit and I'd never done it before. It seems to often take a visitor to get out and see more of your own city! It was lots of fun and yes, I learned some things about the town I'd already lived 25 years in!

Going ocean-kayaking with my cousin is the most fun thing I've done in a really long time. It was SO awesome! We saw sea lions, jellyfish, garibaldis, leopard sharks, and a great big bat-ray. Luckily the water was warm cause we capsized once! (right by the shore, a wave knocked us over as we were coming in). It was super fun! : )
