  1. Oh, I totally remember the first DJ that made an impact on me. When I was in high school in the early 70s in my tiny California hometown, there was a DJ named "Tony London" and he was a rebel. He played entire albums! Late on Saturday nights. My friends and I loved music and we loved his Saturday night show. We'd sit in one of our cars and just listen for hours. We actually drove out to the radio station (KCOK) and visited "Tony" on more than one occasion! In those days, you could just drive out there and walk in! We thought he was dreamy and exotic. And he "got" music the same way we did. I've thought about him many times over the years. Maybe he was just a kid from a community college nearby, I don't know. But that name "Tony London", I'll never forget, LOL!

Great memory. I have definitely loved music my whole life and it has had a HUGE impact on me my whole life.

  2. I love that last night on my run down on the boardwalk, there was a (is it "pod?") of dolphins in the surf putting on a show. There were about 7 or 8 of them and they were riding the waves in and then jumping back out into the water. A bunch of people wre gathered around watching. I've seen dolphins out there before but never so close up. Everyone was being so still and quiet so as not to scare them. They cavorted for almost a half hour then swam on. It was so cute and cool to watch!
