  1. Gosh...they're all over San Jose. I'd love to ride one.
  2. ^haha....statistically, men are more likely to faint during a blood draw than women. I think it's because women see blood all the time.. I don't mind it. You gotta take your medicine, right?
  3. Very cool, Linda! Have fun. I couldn't believe they wouldn't show it in a college town.
  4. ^Maybe since women have a different relationship with chocolate they were afraid it would skew the findings.....lol Well, next time I eat a lot of Ben and Jerry's, I'm going to blame the bacteria.. I never knew that a single-celled microorganism was making my food decisions... It explains a lot..LOL
  5. Lately? It's always been there...lol Thanks Relic. I peeked at your photos. They look great! I'm going to read the reviews after I see the movie.

  7. ^I like Nancy's answer. Inner peace.
  8. Right on... It's going to take a lot convincing. He helped a lot. But...It's one thing to know about it; it's another thing to get the world to change. I can't even get my ex to recycle my cans...lol This is really interesting... Historically, "resources" have been one of the top causes of conflict.
  9. It's in your email account, and we don't have access to it. Maybe you can cut and paste it.
  10. That's interesting. I'm sure you had blood draws too, right? That's what the lab techs used to say when they'd run before and after blood counts. Everything improves. Blood from someone else changes you. You're a different person, usually a healthier one. Yeah...I would think that critical care people would be more sensitive to any weakness in body chemistry. Now that they know about it maybe they can compensate for it with meds, etc.

  16. This is so sad.. That's one scary-ass bug. Here you go Amylou http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meningitis Yeah...I've been vaccinated for hep b, and I didn't develop the antibodies. I had to be re-vaccinated. Everybody is different. I can see how some people may still be susceptible after vaccination. My coworker was telling me her son had it so she took him to our local hospital's ER; one of the Dr.s said that it was flu... She knew he was wrong. She could look in her son’s eyes and he wasn't there. It was different. Luckily another doctor recognized it and the kid was treated and recovered.
